  Beschreibung

  Hi! We are Claudia and Ilaria, a couple who decided to live life at a slower pace and in
  harmony with nature. Our dream is to be self-sufficient and to step away as much as possible
  from the "conventional" lifestyle.
  We live here with a big family of animals: 3 dogs, 8 cats, 2 donkeys, 1 horse, several
  chickens, and a turkey who acts as our security guard! Claudia has two children, Satya (23)
  and Ravi (22). Satya lives with us and is passionate about horses and Fine Arts, while Ravi is
  also a very frequent presence at home.
  We manage a large vegetable garden using organic farming methods; it requires a lot of
  dedication, but it's set in a beautiful valley surrounded by greenery. We also have a small yurt
  and a newly built geodesic dome where we plan to host events and guests. Professionally,
  Claudia is an Indian classical dance teacher and a children's yoga instructor, while Ilaria is an
  art therapist and educator.
  What we need help with
  We are looking for help with the garden and general land maintenance. We specifically need
  people who are handy and practical with tools (chainsaws, drills, etc.) and who are capable
  of building fences, wooden sheds, or similar structures.
  Food and Accommodation
  The diet in our home is strictly vegetarian. If you wish to eat meat, we kindly ask that you do
  so away from the property. We provide meals, which are often shared, though we are
  currently setting up an independent kitchen area for our WWOOFers.
  Accommodation is provided in our wonderful yurt. If the yurt is occupied, you will have a
  private room inside the main house.
  The Location
  Our home is located in the stunning Treia Valley, famous for its river and waterfalls. There
  are many hiking trails to explore nearby. We are just 5 km from the charming village of
  Calcata, a historic "village of artists" perched on a cliff and surrounded by forest. We are also
  only 30 km from Rome and close to several beautiful lakes (Bracciano, Vico, and
  Martignano).

  Workawayers will find a familiar atmosphere,where they can be part of our daily activities as yoga , meditation , dance , they ll have the chance to practicing Italian language and also Italian cooking , we can teach them how to start a vegetable garden , how to build with cob and take care of animals . We hope to learn more about different cultures, have the chance to practice languages

  We have very different project on the way , the start of a permaculture, builds path in the land , taking care of animals and the constructions of shelters for them , builds various ponds , prepare the stocks of wood for the winter , basically we need help in the creation of this place . We like to build with adobe system

  Unterkunft

  For now We have a big and nice room for workawayers with a double bed , in future we may have also different accomodation as a Mongolian yurta , during summer or with warm weather we can arrange also tents

  We are 800meters from the Rignano Flaminio’s train Station and in one hour helpers can arrive in Roma Flaminio that is in the center of the city , there are also several bus to Rome , close to the house 10 minutes by car there is the beautiful and ancient village of calcata , a must for the visitors , the place is also well connected for beautiful trekking on monte Soratte and where you can also visit the anti atomic bunker , little less close but very beautiful are the two lakes of Bracciano and martignano
