  Welcome to our wellness center in Tammisaari, south-east Finland!
  
  It is an old hospital (until 1996) and beautifully renovated to serve as a wellness center for a big variety of events, workshops, retreats and art exhibitions such as tantra, gestalt therapy, kundalini yoga, etc. We also have our own Kombucha brewery in the house.
  
  On site, you have a community including a group of therapists, artists and facilitators who work, and residents who live here.
  
  It is located right next to the ocean, and is about 2 km from Tammisaari. It is quiet and beautiful, with a nice atmosphere, and it is within walking distance from the town.
  
  The aim of the place is to provide space for all kinds of activities from arts to human growth and spirituality.
  
  If you join us, you will support the cultural association as well as the wellness center with event organizing, cleaning, painting, etc. As a Workawayer, you will have access to weekly classes and events for free. And you can use the spaces when they're not in use for your own practice.
  
  We prefer a stay of minimum 1 month.

  Unterkunft

  You will be part of our community and you will have your own room, or share it with another workawayer (max. 2 people in the room). It is situated on the top floor (4th) of the main building. At the moment, there are 7 adults + one child living there, but it varies of course.
  
  The communal space has 2 kitchens, several showers and toilets, and a living room. The whole space is still developing and more space is coming. You will be part of the renovating, decorating and painting team.
  
  Every Sunday there is a sharing circle where we gather together, listen and hold space for each others.
  
  A little sauna in the back yard is usually heated once a week. From the sauna it's about a 300 meter walk to the beach, to swim. In winter time we try to keep a hole in the ice so there is a chance to do ice hole swimming also.
  
  In our backyard, there is a fire place to sit and grill.
  
  On the first floor we have a big dining hall that is also in your free use when there is no retreat or workshop happening. There you have a good free Wi-Fi connection. At the moment there is no Wi-Fi in your living area (4th floor).
  
  No drugs allowed and alcohol in moderation.

  Was noch ...

  In the Tammisaari area, you will find a lot to see and experience. Tammisaari is a charming old town with old wooden houses stretching along the seashore. It's an idyllic small town with shops, cafés and restaurants.
  
  In summer, Stallören’s park area and the terraces of the guest marina are full of life, where people vacation and enjoy the evening sun in the beautiful archipelago environment.
  
  We are about one and half hour away from Helsinki by train (and bus) so it is very convenient to visit our capital also.
  
  There is overall a good vibe in this area, a lot of different conscious communities, workshops and events. In Karjaa (nearby town) there is also another wellness center and a zen buddhist temple where you can visit.

  Minimum wage is 11€/hour.
