Greetings ,
We are an education institute providing education in rural areas of the state(Uttarakhand ) . School was established back in 1989 and have three branches across the city. All volunteers will work in one school .
We usually work till 2 o clock on weekdays and go visit places nearby , on weekends we travel long distance .
I am a certified YTT yoga trainer so you can also learn yoga during this time because its not just about working in school but also learning local culture . Our projects provide an opportunity for young people to experience a lifestyle based around the simple philosophy of doing rather than talking and fixing rather than complaining.
Our aim is to create more opportunities for young people to gain knowledge through discovery and to gain confidence, creativity and interest in science, culture exchange , local visits , technology, engineering, environmental issues, maths, art and learning as a whole.
Please discuss with us in advance if you have a special diet(Vegan/fruitarian/gluten free / yoga diet )
Indian food is always available .

Rishikesh is 30 min drive from our place .
Taj Mahal ( Agra ) - Overnight bus (weekend plan )
Tehri lake / Kaanatal - 70km
Jaipur (Rajasthan ) - overnight bus ( weekend plan )
There are many beautiful places nearby so if you got time we got plans .

Contact us as soon as possible whenever you want to volunteer and please stay connected on personal messages because we accept last minutes also sometimes and your watsapp and fb/insta text will help a lot to understand your arrival and your comfortable stay .
If you contact us 2 to 3 months prior you will get the best of everything .
How to reach us :
From Delhi airport you can board the airport metro to reach Bus station(Kashmiri gate)
Once you reach Delhi you can come to Dehradun by Bus/Taxi/Train/flight .
Flight - Depends when you book it . ( 10 days prior - 4000/-Rs )
Taxi to Dehradun will cost 4500/- Rs approx(6 hrs)
Bus to Dehradun will cost 750/- Rs approx(7 hrs)
If you want taxi i can arrange it for you and text you the drivers number .
Trains have to be booked prior .
If you are planning for bus then you have to reach ISBT - bus station(Kashmiri gate ) in Delhi . We have buses to Dehradun regularly , you dont have to pre book the bus tickets just reach the bus station and buy the tickets for the best bus avilable (volvo is the best bus )
Once you reach Dehradun bus stop i will come to pick you and if i am busy you can take a tuk tuk ( 500/- )to our house .

We are looking for help with kids in schools , basically young children (4-12 years ), teach them your culture and English also play with them .
Volunteers will also help in daily household activities like cooking with mom and helping in kitchen .

We happened to host Dr. Emir and Angela for couple of weeks by chance. That such a wonderful time having them with us.
They both are handyman, fast learner ,creative and up for anythings.

- at school: this is a very open minded school. Children are aged from 3 to 12 years old. There’s a lot of thing to do, according to your skills and wishes. Nishants has a lot of good ideas otherwise.

Joy is an excellent help. She loves yoga and is doing a course in Rishikesh just now. She is very clean and tidy and kept our home lovely .
