  Beschreibung

  We run a small farm-stay business where we rent five cabins on our farm. We are a popular vacation destination and our farm has been featured in the Boston Globe, Yankee Magazine, and Food and Wine magazine. It is beautiful here.
  
  We are looking for hard workers who want to trade some time helping on the farm for a free place to stay. We milk sheep, make cheese, grow vegetables, berries, and grain corn --- all on a small scale using our hands and hand tools for the most part.
  
  The ideal person is excited to help and understands that helping is doing whatever needs to get done, weeding, washing stuff, harvesting, whatever it may be that day. Being willing to work in all weather, and carry heavy stuff is important.
  
  We start planting out crops in May, milking sheep in June, and are in full production mode until early October. Then there's lots of clean up to be done in November.
  
  We are open to good solid help during that time period and we have a simple little studio apartment above our garage (with air conditioning) where the person can stay.

  We have two year round employees and a child care provider who is Argentinian. We have traveled all over the world and know what it is like to live in another country. We personally have lived in Nicaragua, Spain, Japan, and Ecuador and we know that it is important that you get to know people and have time to have fun, meet folks, and travel. We will support that. We are all a big community here and celebrate together often. We have a fire pit we use in the summer to take in the sunsets and our cabin customers often join us. There's a lot to take advantage of. We already have an area guide for exploring that you can use on our website. We have a canoe, kayaks, snow shoes, cross country skis, etc.

  Unterkunft

  Private apartment, private bath, private entrance, private kitchen. It's small but very nice and everything works. When we have extra crops, eggs, and cheese, we give that to you for free. The apartment has a beautiful view.

  We are close to Woodstock, VT and Hanover NH (near Dartmouth College). There's lots of great stuff to do in our area.
