This is a land based eco-centre run by local people on the tip of the Llyn Peninsula in North West Wales. We are a registered Charity. All the centre's building and organic gardening projects have been carried out entirely by volunteers and so this little corner of Wales bears the fingerprints of people from all corners of the earth. We're looking for motivated and enthusiastic people to help out on our small scale market garden and various site maintenance jobs in and around the project.

This host is a registered charity in the UK and is looking for help with their charity project.
We're looking for up to 5 volunteers to help out across different areas of the project:
- in our organic small scale market garden
- this will involve seed sowing, transplanting, preparing beds, learning to compost, weeding, harvesting, and so on.
- to help out with our thatched roundhouse and pod changeovers (cleaning, washing, some admin).
- to help with keeping the site neat and tidy (mowing, strimming, weeding walls, clipping back brambles, etc.)
- to help out with practical wood work (if you have some experience), general fixing, cob building.
We expect 5 - 6 hours of work per day. Usually starting at 9 and finishing up at 4, including a tea break and lunch break.
All volunteers will be based in the old Farmhouse - it’s a very basic facility, shared cooking and living space, one bathroom (no shower just a bath). Volunteers will be required to keep the house tidy and to rotate cooking responsibilities between themselves. Organic veg will be available for cooking use from the garden as well as basic pantry products.
The site itself is positioned near the tip of the Llyn Peninsula, surrounded by lovely beaches and coastal paths - plenty of outdoor activities to get involved with in your leisure time! We are a 10 minute walk to the nearest bus stop which can take you to our small local seaside Village Aberdaron or to Pwllheli (30 minute trip to town).
If you’re interested in coming to help out or just want to find out more please don't hesitate to get in touch!

We have a zero tolerance of any drugs or excessive drinking- and if we do understand that this rule is being broken, we will have to ask you to leave.
The centre is in a remote rural setting four miles away from the nearest seaside village of Aberdaron which has a small shop, bakery, fish and chip shop and two pubs.
There are many splendid hidden beaches within minutes of here, and the ancient Celtic hill-forts nearby.
Pwllheli, the nearest big town and train station, is 16 miles away. There is a regular weekday bus service from Pwllheli to the village of Rhoshirwaun which is ten minutes walk away.
