  We are a family of six: Pablo (dad), Melani (mom), and Río (baby); Graciela (grandma) and Jorge (grandpa); Miriam (aunt).
  Less than a year ago, we decided to try life in the mountains of Córdoba. The place is called Villa García and is located a couple of kilometers from Tanti. The land spans several hectares and has three houses.
  
  As a group, we are currently in a phase of observing the area from a permaculture perspective: where the winds come from, the slopes and how water flows, how the sun hits us during different months of the year, which spots are optimal for a vegetable garden, etc.
  
  This observation work takes time, so as not to waste natural resources (like petroleum) or human energy unnecessarily.
  
  Alongside this observation process, we are also renovating the various living spaces and surrounding areas in preparation for the upcoming spring/summer season. This project aims to prepare the place so that those in need can use it for anything from yoga classes to spiritual retreats.
  
  All meals of the day are included. We avoid ultra-processed foods, and meat consumption is minimal.
  
  The bus drops you off at the entrance of Villa Garcia, and from there it's a 4 km walk to the estancia. The path is very pleasant, but if you're carrying a lot of weight or feeling very tired, we can pick you up at the bus stop.

  There are many places to explore in the surrounding area, especially for hiking. If you’d like to visit the city of Córdoba, we go there once a week and you’re welcome to come with us, or you can take the bus at any time. We have many friends in Córdoba where you can do some couchsurfing if you want to stay more than a day in the city or go out partying!
  
  Regarding the length of stay, it depends on each person, group, or situation. There is no minimum or maximum duration.

  Somos una familia de 6: Pablo (papá), Melani (mamá) y Río (bebé); Graciela (abuela) y Jorge (abuelo); Miriam (tía).
  Desde hace menos de un año decidimos probar la vida en las sierras de Córdoba. El lugar se llama Villa García y se encuentra a un par de km de Tanti. El terreno tiene varias hectáreas y cuenta con 3 casas.
  Como grupo, nos encontramos en una etapa de observación del lugar desde una visión permacultural: desde dónde vienen los vientos, cómo son las pendientes y la manera en que escurre el agua, cómo nos da el sol en los diferentes meses del año, qué lugares son óptimos para la huerta, etc.
  El trabajo de observación requiere tiempo, para no gastar recursos naturales (petróleo, por ejemplo) y fuerza humana en vano.
  A la par del trabajo de observación, nos encontramos refaccionando los diferentes espacios de las casas y los alrededores para la próxima temporada de primavera/verano. Este proyecto consiste en preparar el lugar para que quien lo necesite pueda dar desde clases de yoga hasta retiros espirituales.
  
  Todas las comidas del dia estan incluidas. Evitamos los alimentos ultraprocesados y el consumo de carne es minimo.

  El bus te deja en la entrada de Villa Garcia y de ahi son 4Km hasta la estancia. El camino es muy ameno, pero en caso de que viajes con mucho peso o te encuentres muy cansado, podemos buscarte en la parada.
  
  Tienes muchos lugares para recorrer en los alrededores, especialmente para hacer caminatas. Si quieres conocer la ciudad de Cordoba viajamos una vez por semana y puedes venir con nosotros o tomar el bus en cualquier momento. Tenemos muchos amigos en Cordoba donde puedes hacer couchsurfing si quieres quedarte mas de un dia en la ciudad o si quieres salir de fiesta !
  
  Con respecto al tiempo de estadia, depende de cada persona/grupo o situación. No hay un minimo ni un maximo.

  Renovation tasks (natural building) in the earthen houses.
  Fencing and beginning the regeneration of the area designated for the spring/summer vegetable garden.
  Painting murals in the spaces designated for social activities.
  Planting trees for: windbreaks, soil regeneration, fruit production, firewood, and construction purposes.
  Carrying out the various tasks needed to implement the permaculture design of the space.
  Cutting and storing firewood for winter 2026.
  Cleaning the spaces.
  Cooking for the group.
  There are also spots available for playing with Río!
  
  Ideally, each volunteer would be able to choose the task they enjoy most or that interests them the most.

  Lo ideal sería que cada voluntario pueda elegir la tarea que más le guste o que le genere interés.
