  Canadian born, Norwegian descent, 80 year old male. I am healthy (3 stints in heart) have a Lady friend, ride an E-bike, active social life. have studied: Playback Theatre, NVC, Stand Up & Improv. humour, Cartooning, Listening: Carl Rogers, E.T. Gendlin, Allan Rolhfs. Now working out at Gym 3X week, 7,500 steps daily average. News: I follow CBC, BBC & Guardian & Profound Environment Neglect. I worked with Children since age 16; Swim Instructor, Playground Supervisor, Group Home Operator; Child Care Supervisor; Treatment home contractor. AND played these last 35 years as a World Travelling (Not Class) Clown with balloons. I have further Clown training & experience as an ESL Conversation Tutor. I live in North Vancouver, 12 min walk to the SeaBus. I rent a one-bedroom apartment. My living-bed space is my self- partitioned living room. I rearranged the bedroom to provide for visits with my son and grandchildren, OR FOR A WORK-AWAY. It has a lockable door, Drawers, Closet, Desk, Internet, Space & Totes for personal projects and is a quiet work-space. Some day the WorkAway will be a Care Giver for a Clown who can forget, whatever happened last, like where I put my cell phone. (I am preparing my skills to advance into low-income Canadian Old Age and profound wisdom.
  
  Workaway to provide their own food, (space on shelves and fridge). I have a common shelf for Spices and the like. We may take turns sharing a meal occasionally. I prepare my meals, prefer vegetarian, and always leave the sink clean or my messiness invades everywhere. I offer: private bedroom, shared bath & kitchen in exchange for 2 hrs, 5 days a week with your brain concentrating on helping me with my projects.
  
  Workaway most suited to me: Probably Artsy, seeks a quiet base to follow their passion in Greater Vancouver, a non smoker, non drinker, no drugs, (easily self amused) and who would benefit from practicing Canadian-English with a native speaker. Probably someone over 30 years of growing up experience, who has ways of finding 'childish joy' in their life, who visits with guests away from the shared apartment, knows how to use headphones for music, cleans up after themselves and we share cleaning of common areas. Mostly a person who can help me (patient and able to focus) improve my TOO MANY Computer-Media Projects. When you have 80 years experience living, you ... . I do go on: I can Stop. I practice listening and learn so very much that way. We must have time to interview each other on Zoom or WhatsApp.

  Your time off is yours; you probably don't want or need any advice from me. I am a non smoker, non drug user, non drinker who prefers calm and am interested in hosting similar abnormal people. Also: You being tidy & clean, inspires me to eliminate unnecessary clutter. After a Persian 'Workaway' months long stay: I am now addicted to Persian Yogurt; to which I add: frozen wild blue berries & Maple Syrup. DeepSeek (Ai) has quietly let me know, if I stop snacking on that 4 x a day I can probably loose 1 lb. a week, in 25 weeks, so, I don't need any more wonderful treat ideas. I now drink: Persian tea with Turmeric, Ginger, Green Tea, Cinnamon & honey. My latest adventure is to put a piece of tape over my mouth, when I go somewhere, its amazing how many people have something fun to say and I can return gestures.
