  We are a small family of three: Nil, who is 11, Aranu, who is 9, and me, their mum. We live in a very small and quiet village in the province of Tarragona, Catalonia, just 4 km from Montblanc and about 40 km from Tarragona and the beach. It is a beautiful area, surrounded by vineyards and countryside, and there are many lovely places to explore and enjoy nature.
  
  During the summer, the boys go to a summer day camp in the mornings, but I need some help with them in the afternoons. I am looking for someone who enjoys spending time with children and would be happy to help us with childcare, playing with them, going to the swimming pool, doing activities together, etc.
  
  It would be especially nice if you speak English, as we would love to take the opportunity to practise and improve our English as a family. We think it could be a great cultural exchange for everyone!
  
  We also have two cats and a dog, so you should be comfortable around animals.
  
  You would have your own private room in our home and, of course, you would become part of our family during your stay. We would love to share our everyday life with you, show you around the area and help you discover Catalonia.
  
  We are looking for someone friendly, responsible and easy-going, who enjoys children, animals and a quiet village lifestyle.
  
  Having a driving licence would be a plus, as we live in a small village and having a car can make getting around the area much easier.

  I have also had the experience of looking after children abroad, so I know how valuable and enriching this kind of cultural exchange can be.
  
  I am a very open and easy-going person, and I really enjoy meeting people from different countries and learning about other cultures. I also love hiking and spending time outdoors, and the boys are very active too, so there will be plenty of opportunities to do activities together, go for walks and explore the area.
  
  Our region is especially known for its vineyards and olive groves, so travellers can discover a lot about local wine, olive oil, food and our way of life. The beach is also very close, so there are plenty of possibilities for day trips and enjoying the Mediterranean.
  
  We live in a very small village, where people are very friendly and welcoming. Everyone knows each other and, when you need something, there is always someone willing to help. It is 100% village life! 😊
  
  In the evenings, especially during the summer, we often take our chairs outside and sit in the street to enjoy the cooler air and chat with the neighbours. Quite often, we end up having dinner outside too. It is a very simple way of life, but we really enjoy it!

  Arbeit

  The main help we are looking for is with childcare during the summer afternoons.
  
  The boys attend a summer day camp in the mornings, so the help would mainly be needed in the afternoons, after they finish. This could include spending time and playing with them, taking them to the swimming pool, going for a walk, doing activities together, helping them with simple things at home, and keeping them company while I am working or doing things around the house.
  
  We would also love for the traveller to speak English with the boys and with me, so that we can practise our English naturally in our everyday life.
  
  We are not looking for someone to be a full-time babysitter or housekeeper. The idea is to have someone who becomes part of our family for a while and enjoys sharing time with us, while helping us with the children in the afternoons.
  
  Having a driving licence would be a plus, as it can be useful for getting around our area and doing activities with the boys.

  Unterkunft

  We live in a large apartment with a terrace. The apartment has three bedrooms, two living rooms, a kitchen, a bathroom and a terrace.
  
  You would have your own private bedroom, so you would have your own space and privacy during your stay.
  
  Our home is located at the top of a small hill, in a very quiet spot where there are only three neighbours. There is a large outdoor area around the houses, which feels almost like having a huge private garden to enjoy. It is a peaceful place, with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside and vineyards.
  
  It is a great place to relax, enjoy the outdoors and experience life in a small Catalan village.

  Was noch ...

  We are very well located for exploring Catalonia, especially if you have a driving licence and a car. Public transport is also quite good, so it is possible to get around without a car, although having one gives you much more freedom to discover the area.
  
  The beach is only about 40 minutes away, and Tarragona is also very close. Barcelona is approximately one hour away by car, and the Pyrenees are around 2 hours away, so there are plenty of possibilities for day trips and weekend adventures.
  
  We live in a really beautiful area, surrounded by vineyards and olive groves. There are not hundreds of tourist attractions right on our doorstep, but that is part of the charm! It is a peaceful, rural area where you can enjoy nature, go hiking, visit small villages and discover local food and wine.
  
  Montblanc, just 4 km away, is a beautiful medieval walled town, with its old streets, stone buildings and historic atmosphere. It is lovely to walk around and have a coffee or something to eat there.
