  Hi! My name is Caterina, some years ago I moved in the country, a beautiful place 30 km com Adriatic sea and around 20 from mountain. The closed town is called Sant’Elpidio Morico and after last earthquake there just a few people living there. I moved here with my children, Dea 14 years, Leone 11 years and Ester 9 years, my dogs Creta, Tornio and Ezra and lots of cats. I also have some chicken.
  I’m a sculptress working with ceramic, My project is to restore this hause to made an artist residence and I work very hard for that.
  I also working with Vintage clothes from '60 to '90, I have some online store and sometime I do Vintage and artisanal market around Italy.
  I'm looking for highly motivated, adaptable people who love countryside and nature, who understand the rhythms of country life (no, you can't wake up at 9 a.m.!), and who aren't afraid of insects or nature in general.
  
  Come to visit us, you will enjoy of this beautiful place, the nature, colture, wild country life and art! I use to do ceramic workshop here so you will have a special price for that! We would be happy to have somebody here helping in my projects.

  I offer an Italian cultural exchange, of course! Learn to live in the real and deep country side, cook pasta and pizza, Italian language and local culture.
  Also I offer a special price to partecipate to my ceramic workshop to learn ceramic technique and sculpture but please don't ask me to have workshop or ceramic curse in change of your help here! Many people have written to me saying they want to learn ceramics or sculpt. I'm sorry to point out that this page isn't a business page!
  My job is to create and sell ceramics. I also offer paid workshops, and there's an official website for these. What I'm asking here is an exchange: hospitality in a unique, deep-country setting in exchange for help with everyday tasks.
  Obviously when I'm working with ceramics it is possible to observe, spend some time in the lab, if you already has experience also working with clay, but these are situations that are created in the balance of giving and receiving and coexistence.
  The area where we live is very beautiful and full of little beautiful town to visit, rich of history and art. Sea is not distant, 35 km from the house and Sibillini mountain are 40 km from the house. To move from here to other place is necessary car or to have very good skill and flexibility with public transport!

  Arbeit

  In the last years I was working on an old barn to made a ceramic studio on it and also an art residence. Lots of work is already finish by it’s still lots of buildings finished to do.
  I need people that can help me with practical work: small projects, and other staff like that, but also simple daily country works like cleaning around (especially chicken place) take care of my animal, cats, dog, chicken, during winter times also help me to prepare wood...
  As I work with vintage clothing I welcome people who know this topic and have REAL experience in the sector, or who can help me organize my archive and with online sales.
  
  Of course I spend a lot of time with my children so I need someone someone very patient and affable so a emphat person.
  In the country is important to wake up very early at morning, to be independent and intuitive, skilled in manual works and strong!

  Unterkunft

  The house where we are living is a big property from late ‘60 with a big space all around. Near to it there is a very old country house that we would like to restore, one day...and the barn where now there is my art studio. Then there is a small Mobil home with everything inside, I offer a single room with a double bed into the Mobil home.
  This is not a luxury country house, there is not a central heating and great comforts, this is a place where time stands still and to keep warm during the winter you need to know how to light a fire and the internet only works in one room.
  
  Food is included but of course Is necessary to understand that we can cook together and clean together like a comunity! we use to cook simples staff like pasta, salad, rice, some fish and meet. Into the mobile home the is a bathroom with shower and outside we can enjoy of a small pool during the summer!

  The house is the county so it’s best if you have a car to move.
  Anyway there is buses in the little town near to the house, so you can move with bus to go on the coast or in Fermo, a beautiful city 25 km from here.
