  We are a bi-lingual (French and English) fmiddle aged couple and now our two sons have left home it's just us, two tortoises and three chickens.
  We live in a wooden house on the edge of the lively town of Pézenas in the heart of wine country. We are a 20 minutes drive from the Mediterranean coast and within easy access of rivers, lakes and rolling countryside. Known as the Ville de Molière, Pézenas has a beautiful historic centre housing a variety of artist ateliers, restaurants and bars. I am an actor and Laurence is a make-up artist.
  We are looking for help in the maintenance of our property that would involve gardening, minor building and general cleaning and clearing of our land and natural pool/fish pond.
  Ideally we are seeking two friends or a couple prepared to take on physical labour. As our house is built on a hillside it would also help if they were half goat ;-)
  Accommodation is a self-contained flat suitable for a single person, a couple or two friends.

  We have built the house and natural pool from scratch, learning many trades and skills along the way and would be happy to share our knowledge

  Arbeit

  The house is built on the side of a hill and we need help to finish off the garden and surrounding land, pruning the trees, landscaping, paving and generally tidying up as well as helping with building projects.

  Unterkunft

  You would be staying in our gîte. It opens out to the lower garden and has it's own entrance from the street. There is a main and a small bedroom, an open-plan kitchen/lounge and bathroom with walk-in shower. As well as WiFi there are pushbikes at your disposal.

  We are a 20 minutes drive from the Mediterranean coast and within easy access of rivers, lakes and rolling countryside. Known as the Ville de Molière, Pézenas has a beautiful historic centre housing a variety of artist ateliers, restaurants, bars, a cinema and two theatres. There are also frequent busses to Montpelier, Béziers and the surrounding villages.
