  Aktuell :) – Wir suchen ca. 8 motivierte Helfer*innen, die Lust haben, uns bei privaten Arbeiten rund um unseren Hof zu unterstützen: bei der diesjährigen Vorbereitung auf den Winter (kleine Renovierungs- und Instandhaltungsarbeiten) und der traditionellen Olivenernte Ende Oktober/Anfang November. Gemeinsam draußen anpacken, gutes Essen teilen und Zeit in der Natur verbringen – ganz im Sinne eines solidarischen Austauschs.
  
  📍 Wo?
  Auf unserem kleinen, privaten Hof in der Toskana – ruhig gelegen, umgeben von Olivenbäumen und Natur.
  Du schläfst in einem 2- bis 3-Bett-Zimmer im Einzelbett.
  
  📅 Wann?
  Samstag 25.10.– Sonntag 09.11.
  Mindestens eine Woche, gerne zwei. Anreisetag können wir individuell absprechen.
  
  🛠️ Was gibt es zu tun?
  
  Wir freuen uns über Hilfe bei:
  
  der Olivenernte (von Hand oder mit kleinen Rechen)
  
  der Pflege der Olivenbäume (Schneiden, Rasen mähen)
  
  einfachen Renovierungs- und Instandhaltungsarbeiten (z. B. Streichen, kleinere Reparaturen)
  
  gelegentlichen Fahrten zur lokalen Olivenpresse
  
  (dies Betrifft ausschließlich nicht-gewerbliche Arbeiten rund um Haus und Hof, wie sie jedes Jahr im Herbst anfallen).
  
  🕒 Arbeitsrhythmus:
  4 Arbeitstage pro Woche (jeweils ca. 6 Stunden), 3 Tage frei – abhängig vom Wetter und der Planung der Olivenernte. Ein bisschen Flexibilität hierfür wäre super :)
  
  👨‍👩‍👧 Wer wir sind:
  Meine Eltern Ruth (64) und Michael (78) – ursprünglich aus der Schweiz und Deutschland – leben seit über 35 Jahren hier in unserem Zuhause in den Hügeln der Toskana.
  Meine Mutter ist die praktische „Macherin“, mein Vater eher der ruhige „Denker“. Aufgrund gesundheitlicher Einschränkungen ist mein Vater nicht ganz so aktiv in der Arbeit auf dem Hof dabei wie früher. Ich, Lia (34), unterstütze meine Eltern bei der Organisation der Olivenernte und bin bei allen Aufgaben rund um Haus und Hof mit dabei.
  
  🗣️ Sprachen:
  Meine Mutter spricht nur Deutsch und Italienisch, einige der Helfer*innen meist Deutsch – daher wäre es super, wenn du zumindest eine dieser Sprachen ein wenig sprichst 😊.
  
  🫶 Was uns wichtig ist:
  Ein achtsames, freundliches Miteinander, und eine Atmosphäre in dem wir uns gegenseitig unterstützen und wohlfühlen :).
  
  🚍 Anreise:
  Am besten mit Zug/Bus nach Siena (über Florenz). Von dort fährt Buslinie 122 nach Chiusdino/Montieri zu folgenden Zeiten:
  
  Montag–Freitag: 14:10, 19:10 und 20:00 Uhr
  
  Samstag: 14:10 und 19:10 Uhr
  
  Sonntag: keine Busverbindung
  
  Bitte plane die Anreise so, dass Du einen dieser Busse erwischen kannst. Vielen Dank! (Wenn es gar nicht anders geht, können wir dich auch in Colle Val d’Elsa abholen (von Florenz aus fahren dorthin etwa alle 1-2 Stunden Busse hin)).

  Ende Juli möchten wir mit allen Interessierten ein kurzes Kennenlerngespräch führen.

  4 giorni di lavoro a settimana (6 ore al giorno circa), 3 giorni liberi. Possibili variazioni in base al meteo e alla disponibilità del frantoio.
  
  👨‍👩‍👧 Chi siamo:
  Mia madre Ruth (64) e mio padre Michael (78), originari di Svizzera e Germania, vivono qui da oltre 30 anni.
  Mio padre, per motivi di salute, è più tranquillo, mentre io – Lia (34) – aiuto mia madre nell´organizazzione della raccolta, cucina e lavori all’aperto :)
  
  🗣️ Lingue parlate:
  Mia mamma parla italiano e tedesco. Alcuni volontari solo tedesco – è utile parlare almeno una delle due lingue 😊

  🚍 Come arrivare:
  In treno o bus fino a Siena (via Firenze), poi bus 122 per Chiusdino (lun-sab alle 14:10 o 19:10). In casi eccezionali possiamo venire a prenderti a Colle Val d’Elsa.
  
  🥗 Cosa offriamo:
  
  Stanza condivisa (2–3 letti) nella nostra casa
  
  Cibo semplice e buono: pane, marmellate, salsa di pomodoro, verdure dell’orto (quando disponibili) e prodotti base

  Currently :) – We are looking for approximately 8 motivated helpers who would like to support us with private help around our farm: this year's winter preparations (minor renovation and maintenance work) and the traditional olive harvest at the end of October/beginning of November. We'll be working together outside, sharing good food, and spending time in nature – all in the spirit of solidarity.
  
  📍 Where?
  On our small, private farm in Tuscany – quietly located, surrounded by olive trees and nature.
  You'll sleep in a 2- to 3-bed room in a single bed.
  
  📅 When?
  Saturday, October 25th – Sunday, November 9th
  Minimum of one week, preferably two. Arrival days can be arranged individually.
  
  🛠️ What is there to do?
  
  We welcome help with:
  
  Olive harvesting (by hand or with small rakes)
  
  Olive tree care (pruning, mowing the lawn)
  
  Simple renovation and maintenance work (e.g., painting, minor repairs)
  
  Occasional trips to the local olive press
  
  (This only applies to non-commercial work around the house and yard, which occurs every fall).
  
  🕒 Work schedule:
  4 working days per week (approx. 6 hours each), 3 days off – depending on the weather and the planning of the olive harvest. A little flexibility here would be great :)
  
  👨‍👩‍👧 Who we are:
  My parents Ruth (64) and Michael (78) – originally from Switzerland and Germany – have lived here in our home in the hills of Tuscany for over 35 years.
  My mother is the practical "doer," my father more of a quiet "thinker." Due to health restrictions, my father isn't as actively involved in the farm work as he used to be. I, Lia (34), help my parents organize the olive harvest and help with all the chores around the house and farm.
  
  🗣️ Languages:
  My mother only speaks German and Italian, and some of the helpers mostly speak German – so it would be great if you speak at least a little of one of these languages ​​😊.
  
  🫶 What's important to us:
  A respectful, friendly atmosphere where we support each other and feel comfortable :).
  
  🚍 Getting there:
  The best way to get there is by train/bus to Siena (via Florence). From there, bus line 122 goes to Chiusdino/Montieri at the following times:
  
  Monday–Friday: 2:10 p.m., 7:10 p.m., and 8:00 p.m.
  
  Saturday: 2:10 p.m. and 7:10 p.m.
  
  Sunday: No bus service
  
  Please plan your journey so that you can catch one of these buses. Thank you! (If absolutely necessary, we can also pick you up in Colle Val d'Elsa (buses leave from Florence approximately every 1-2 hours).
