My name is Gema. My family and I live in Alcorcón, Madrid, Spain in a warm house. We are a family of five members: my husband Antonio, my older son Diego who is 13 years old, Lucía who is 11 years old, Daniela who is 5 years old and me. We usually attend English classes but we would like to share part of our free-time with a person from another country who speaks English fluently. We've lived this experience for some years and this year we’ve wanted to repeat it in order to live an incredible experience and improve our English. We’ve lived with some workawayers for the last two years. So we are looking for someone who wants to come at least 2-3 months from September- October to June.
As far as we’re concerned, my husband and I work until 15:00. I'm a maths teacher and my husband is a civil engineer. My children are in the school until 14:30-15:00. After the school, children have to do homework and have some extra activities. We usually have dinner at 20:30-21:00 because the children go to bed at 21:30.
We like to practise sports. Antonio and me have a personal trainer, Diego and Antonio play fronton (similar to squash), Lucia, Daniela and me attend dance classes, we love dance.

We had good experiences with American people who lived with us for a year everyone, because they became to be part of our family and we continue to be in contact. Sharing time is the best way to learn about other customs and improve a language, in this case, Spanish.
This year we’ve lived with two workawayers and the experience was so good.

We need help with the children for one-two hours per day in order to improve their English, so it's important to be a person who speaks English fluently. It’s important too that this person like children because he/she will have to play with them. We would like our children practise and learn English through play.

We would like to practice English, specially our children.
The idea is to offer accommodation in exchange for a couple of hours per day in the afternoon-evening to play with the children. We offer a single room in the attic that has a bed, wardrobe, study table, heating, air conditioning and wifi. Our house is in a nice area, that has parks, gardens, sports center and is near the train station.
My mum cooks every day. She is helping us with our kids because they have lunch at home. All the foreign guys who lived with us enjoyed my mother's food.
The neighbourhood offers a lot of activities: sports, dancing, crafts, etc. The train station is near our house and in 20 minute by train you are in the center of Madrid.
