    I am jerome I am the admin here ,My brother is Joji and sister Rona are my co project coordinators who works with me in this project I speak basic english but my sister can speak english, as well
    .Me and my brother own the farm,It is 4 hectares for now because My father sold the rest of the farm for his operation, in 2016 and this farm was obtained in 2004 , All crops are like coconut, pineapples ,falcata being wipe out with the typhoon Pablo in 2011 and 2012so there is nothing left.
    Now we started planting last 2015 for coconut, falcata and pineapples chili But Marang fruits are still here. My brother raised chicken fighter for called Sabong or cockfighting chickens for hobby and he had 12 dogs and cats in his house , Way back to farmhouse ,Mosty the trees there are coconut, falcata, abaca fibers, NO electricity but the air is so fresh with surrounded with natures, river and accessible clean
    Sleeping is in my homestay ONLy with My family brother my dad and my sister with baby Volunteers has different room which compose of six bunker bed no aircon but with power
    Permaculture is also done maybe once or twice a week due to weather condition like muddy and soil erosion in our place. Proper boots bolo food water and patient must be needed to hike 20 minutes going to farmhouse .
    On the other hand,building 2 storey apartment house for my family Are DONe which is almost needed are guest for my homestay business soon so I need people hands on who had had skills in construction interior designer internet marketer or receptionist My next renovation for another extension for another bed and dining will be constructed this March 2020 so watch out for announcement .
    The project will give you hands on in learning bisaya language Ask for my staff or family members of you are interested knowing Bisayan language or local words here to communicate better with local people on Mangagoy
    In this way , you can uses this in speaking for the whole island of the Philippines particularly Visayas and Mindanao
    The project also enhances you how to cook manually without stove just woods in the wild FARMhouse and matches like Survivor episode style So expect dirty kitchen in the farm house This will enhances your skills to be independent and close with nature ,building friendship with the neighboor and people the Filipinos
    You can’t stay beyond 4 pm in my farm house.All volunteers had to leave after this time, public tricycle are hard to get but I had two motorbikes for your comfort going back to home stay

    The project also enhance your skills to be hospitality careers which will help in your chosen careers coz we can be used as your reference
    The project will also enhances your housekeeping skills where you can use if you chose volunteerism in the hostels apartels or hotels
    The project also can enhance your skills in organic farming because of hands on for first timers you have to expose to sun sweat dehydrated mosquito bites stomping with snakes and wild , You just need to be careful the mountain is wild however we will educated you on how to plant vegetables or fruits where you can bring this skills when you have your own organic farming for your own consumption
    The project also opens you to enjoy the hotspots of our city during your own exploration in town for wet markets carve products organic plants seeds seafood waterfalls mountains beaches hot springs bringing you closer to comfort relax and stress world environment and enjoy and fun closer to nature bonding good memories with my own family of course dining
    This project also enhances cultural diversity because you are merge with fellow volunteers from all over the world where you can gain friendships tips of their experience which you can use to be a smart traveller in the future as you continue your journey in another country
    The project also gives you to be a budget traveller because we will expose you to local markets wet markets shipping bazards with free taste of seafood tropical fruits and tropical veges like okra and tried local dishes like balot ,kinilaw(fresh fish soak in vinegar spicy) biko (rice cake),sugba (roasted fish) and famous adobo and isaw don’t forget the famous Rice coz Filipinos can’t sleep without eating this all day

    travellers can learn visaya which are the local language and tagalog which are the national language in the philippines, explore the touristic place like tinuy an falls, enchanted river, britannia beach and many more plus eat organic food right from the farm and fruits like marang, durian, pineapples and more. organic gardening is available too.you can learn the culture from the local people talk to them as they welcome you all with smile and friendly gestures.
    they can interact with the local people speaking to them and language exchange , they can also learn tagalog and bisaya from the local people.
    mostly people here can speak and understand BASIC english so it must not be a problem.
    thought this experience they can learn to measure their skills, how they can adapt with different cultural environment and learn to be independent.
    taste local cuisine, shop for local souvenirs,taste exotic food like balut, eat the local tropical fruits in the farm,explore the sights and sounds of bislig, the hot springs, the falls, mountain hiking, swimming in the beach and drink local beer and tuba(fermented coconut juice), and eat the famous kinilaw. riding tricycles and trisicad.
    all of this you can experience from the heart of bislig., Mangagoy.

    For my property ,Stuff like cleaning household
    Chores also dad room cleaning ,shopping downtown with family members assist them , reception works for booking guest , making website to appeal more bookings housekeeping , watching out for our new baby on board
    Watering the plants everyday , Assit local cooking
    Cleaning the small rooftop pool
    Maintenance works like reporting leaking plumbing sink, electrical broken wires etc
    On the other hand if you don’t like this Ask brother to visit FARMhouse which are 20 minutes from my property You can wash dishes in manually ,dig water in the well , cut the grasses near da farmhouse building ,eating fray coconut farmhouse wood collecting , Cooking and harvesting foodcrop vegetables fruits like marang pineapple or you can bring it for ur own consumption Feeding chicken dogs walking sweating Bring food water and tools .Leave before 4pm

    Mostly room are shared with fellow volunteers like bunker beds or double decker with power outlet but if u are uncomfortable with these inform us in advance if you want privacy for an additional charge private rooms has aircondition clean pillow Nd hot shower and toilet

    Free 2 meals mostly breakfast toast and eggs or corned beef with rice free coffee milk or juice or water ,1 cup of fruit ,the dinner mostly rice or potatoes with kinilaw or steak pork or beef or chicken noodle soup or roasted native chicken from da farm
    2 day off mostly Friday and Saturday
    You can use my motorbike during ur day off if you go to touristic place like enchanted river or tinuy an falls but u have to shoulder the gas and bring your license card in case of traffic officers on road duty
    1 free beer every Friday
    Free karaoke in rooftop or free swim in the pool rooftop
    Free language class to learn local language of your choice tagalog or bisaya
    In your lunch time you can cook your own food or buy your self in cheap wet market just 20 mins walk or grocery store 1$ is equal to 53 pesos mostly you can buy a good meal for 2 or 3 $ or 150 pesos

    SORRY due to the condition of my father and our little baby I DO NOT ACCEPT VOLUNTEERS WHO ARE SMOKERS!
    USING motorbike or easy ride with tricycle for very cheap price exploring the city after farm work. Bus transport is available within inter city to Davao or Butuan or close towns
    You can also enjoyed going to britannia islands, the famous beach in cargo, just few kilometres or 2 hrs from bislig city. tinuy an falls, which are Niagara falls of the Philippines for 40 minutes motorbike from bislig city and famous enchanted rive, where can't be measured in deep and see the feeding of fishes at 12 noon, the Blue lagoon of the Philippines for 2 hrs from Bislig City.via motorbike.
    you can buy your own food if you dont like the food to be serve by local family. you can go to the famous blue lagoon a.ka Enchanted river to unwind, Tinuy an falls, and Britannia islands beach to unwind your self during day off. internet wifi is very slow during the day but you can bring your own wifi. Eat fresh fruits like marang and pineapples from organic farm. and some fresh veggies to cook for.
    Mangagoy, our town also is famous of fresh seafood like lobster, shrimps, crabs, seashells, sea grapes and other marine products directly from the sea for very cheap prices. rice is widely eaten here every day 3 times a day so you have to cook your own if you dont like rice for whole day. the weather is very sunny here mostly 28 to 34 degrees in March till November, and rainy in December and February so bring umbrella or plastic with you. you can also eat carinderia or street food for very cheap like 50 pesos per meal. and shop in the nearby city proper where merchandise , grocery and cloths are available.
    Transportation here is multi cab, tricycle, trisycad, motorbike(habal-habal),jeepney. minimum fare of 8 pesos.
    you have to have a motorbike license if you want to use my motorbike.
    you can also go to Enchanted river,
    the blue lagoon that lies in the heart of hinatuan. where you can see someone feed the fishes and singing by the lullaby. blue lagoon was hot springs and there is also a cold spring and a streaming the crystal clear waters as you go swimming with nature and deal with fishes. also try the sea food delicacies rice and pop.
    TO BUTUAN CITY, BANCASI AIRPORT just 1.5 hours flight depends on weather condition. then catch a multicab going to the BUS TERMINAL the fare is 50 pesos. then board the BUS TO MANGAGOY, 5 hours bus trip expect the station to station then drop to MORMONS and catch a tricycle going to OBAL JOHN BOSCO, FELINGS ask for obal residence for your instruction and luggage storage.VAN is faster 4.5 hours.
    FROM DAVAO CITY FRANCISCO BANGOY INTERNATINAL AIRPORT, from the airport rent a taxi going to ECOLAND BUS TERMINAL and ask to board a bus bound to MANGAGOY . the bus will go to station to station so expect to take 6 hours travel time. VAN is faster 4.5 hours. then drop to POST 12, then ask to take tricycle and ask FELINGS Village, then ask Obal residence
