******Our December workaways is just house sitting while we are away and giving our cat lots of love and feeds. Looking for someone available 15th-26th Dec

It is a provide your own food situation and for someone who has there own transport as we are not close to shops or public transport but only about 15mins to some towns and 30mins to sunshine coast. ****** Basically a free holiday house with a beautiful 🐱
It is myself, daughter, cat and four chickens living on 1/2 acre in Eudlo - the sunshine coast and hinterlands.
We need help from experienced workers tidying, maintaining, organic gardening the property, assisting it to be more self sustaining and building up the food Forrest. If you have the know how's and the ability we would love to host you. We have some bamboo to control, also have excess plants that could be potted.
To the builders and handy man/women I would love to build some more infrastructure to enhance the spaces eg. Meditation/yoga Shala, pizza oven or things might need fixing up around the space.

The property has potential to co-create events for the community. If you have a special talent eg. yoga teaching, craft, performance gifts etc let us know. We might be able to create an event together. If you have skills and experience we are interested in, you can trade your expertise for stay.
Hours aren't rigid. Depends on what's happening and where/when you will be most useful.

Private room/studio seperate to house. Toilet and bathroom via entrance foyer in house. In general please purchase and provide your own food like shared living (hours have been reduced to assist with this). We can discuss if we are to have a shared meal. I can take you to the supermarket for your general shopping.
Share house toilet, shower and kitchen.

On your time off:
-Swim at the beach
-Visit the hinterlands charming towns and natural sights
-Sight see, walk/hike, fishing
-Go to the city - Eudlo has a train to Brisbane
-Play music
-Relax, rejuvenate & heal
If I am available & costs are covered I will be more than happy to drive you places or go on an adventure together. I am reasonably new to the area so would like to explore. Otherwise you can access public transport.

Our kids made friends with Christine's family. We put in just a bit of work every day tidying up the horse stables, easy enough, and in return have shared great company. We got to visit the neighbor's dairy farm, which included petting lots of animals and even a horse ride for the kids. We went to the nearby river for a dip.… read more
