  Hello and welcome. We are a family of 3, living off grid living about 8km upriver from Dawson City, in the old agricultural area called Sunnydale.
  We grow our own food, gather our firewood and berries and hunt for our own wild meat.
  We also keep 12 dogs, who act as pets and sleddogs for transportation in winter.
  We have many DIY projects on the go, including a log addition to our current home, which we are looking for helpful and talented hands to come join us this sumner and get things done, while having fun!

  Traveller's will have the opportunity to live and experience living off grid, in a rural community in northern Yukon.
  Traveller's will have to the opportunity to learn the culture around this lifestyle, including gardening, helping in the greenhouse, logging, brushing/clearing land and helping with our sleddogs.

  Arbeit

  -Gardening, including veggie gardening, weeding and cultivating soil
  -DIY projects including fencing, painting and assisting w log cabin addition
  -assist with daily chores for off grid lifestyle including firewood, hauling water and keeping sleddogs.
  -childcare opportunities, but not crucial.
  -carpentry skills will be considered an asset.

  Unterkunft

  Small off grid cabin 8x10 with a covered porch for additional living space. Good good for individuals or happy couples.
  
  Guest will be given the option to eat 3x meals a day onsite, if helping minimum 4-6hrs/day and 4-5 days/week. However we usually only guarantee 1 of those 3 meals to be prepared and shared together because of changing projects and kid schedules ect. Guests will be given the opportunity to eat out of garden and cook in their accommodation when not eating in the main house with us. A variety of dietary food needs can be accommodated, especially if the quest is willing to prepare their own food.

  Our property is located approximately 8km upriver from Dawson City, Yukon or about the same by road via a ferry crossing at town to the Top of World Hwy.
  Dawson has many cultural and historical features including a rich First Nation culture and a gold rush history, which maintains a industry to-date.
  Dawson also offers a rich nightlife and has long been known for its art scene including music.
  A great place for locals and traveller's alike.
