  We moved from London to Portugal 4 years ago to create an Eco Village, hoping to inspire others to move to the countryside and work with nature and learn to grow our own food. It has not been easy; we managed to do a lot to recreate the farm, add geodesic domes and even got a green house, but it has been a headache and very hard . We are just two and our project ws also derailed by the fact that we ended up focusing on rescuing dogs as the locals keep abandoning them.
  
  You will be sharing the space with us , Chantal and Kyle. Our place is nested in the mountains and hills surrounding the Vez River and we are about 25 km from the entrance to the national park, Geres. Nature is the prime attraction of the venue with a lot of paths and hiking spots! There are companies organizing canoeing, biking and river rafting adventures and we are only 40 minutes away from the sea in Viana do Castelo. Towns and cities are also quite amazing, like Ponte de Lima, Braga and Porto and you can be in Spain, in Vigo in less than 1 hour (it is pretty awesome there) Overall this place is great if you love nature!

  It is an opportunity to take a break and explore northern Portugal, which is amazing! This could be a great health challenge as i guarantee you will feel wonderful with fresh air and nature around

• 

  Arbeit

  We are looking for someone who is excellent with Landscaping and gardening . The person who is interested has to know gardens, have general knowledge of nature and be efficient and very good at communciating so we can work together to:
  1. clean the land
  2. help maintain the even improve our greenhouse setup to help us grow food
  
  the garden is stil in its infancy and it is mostly setup work at the moment so we need this to be done well.
  
  Daily tasks basically are cleaning up and landscaping plus planting
  
  PS: we want professionals who want a break and love nature and over 25 years old
  
  Please note that having your own transport is necessary as we have no public services

  Unterkunft

  Single or Shared Glamping dome with en suite bathroom. The guests will have access to a kitchenette and we will provide the staples to make meals.
  
  all food is plant based and we do not accept animal products here as it is in conflict with our ethos.

  There is amazing nature all over with the national park only about 20 min away and a trip to Spain in no time too :-)

  We have a pretty big Parking lot, but we do not have water and electricity on site as it is detached from our main property, by a small pubic path.
