Beschreibung
Hola! I’m Julio, an architect and freediver building a sustainable ecolodge on the Caribbean side of Panama, right at the border of Portobelo National Park, a UNESCO-protected natural area.
The first phase of the project is already complete: we have showers, a kitchen, a dock, one cabin, four jungle huts, and a main hut built with local materials. The next steps are to keep improving the space — gardening, creating community areas, and inspires others to live closer to nature.

We’re completely isolated and surrounded by raw nature. No cars, no shops, just the sound of waves and the jungle. You’ll wake up to howler monkeys, swim in crystal-clear water, and share meals under the stars.
This is a perfect place if you love:
- simple, off-grid living,
-nature, ocean, and wildlife,
-community spirit and meaningful projects.
Wi-fi is limited, so it’s a great opportunity to disconnect and recharge.
You’ll have free time to explore, swim, hike, or join me for freediving sessions when I’m around.
Arbeit
At this stage, I’m looking for trustworthy, responsible volunteers (couples) who can stay at the ecolodge when I go to the city to buy supplies, pay bills, or visit family and friends.
Your main tasks would be:
- taking care of my place (dock) and my dog Viento (when I'm away),
- gardening, keeping spaces clean and organized,
- making sure everything runs smoothly and respectfully.
If you’re independent, and open to adventure, you’ll fit right in. Experience in eco-building or gardening is great — but not required. The most important thing is curiosity, respect for nature, and a willingness to live simply.

Unterkunft
Dock House, bathrooms , kitchen and showers are outside. The house have a battery for the solar panel, good for charge your laptop and keep the starlink working.
