  Beschreibung

  We are Aroa and Christian, a family with two children aged 7 and 4: Gael and Mar. We live in a country house surrounded by nature, close to the coast and beautiful natural areas. We love music, surfing, travelling, cooking, and spending time with friends and family.
  
  On our property, we have a garden, a vegetable patch, dogs, cats, and chickens, so there is usually plenty of activity and life around our home.
  
  Somos Aroa y Christian, una familia con dos niños de 7 y 4 años: Gael y Mar. Vivimos en una casa de campo rodeada de naturaleza, cerca de la costa y de entornos naturales. Nos encanta la música, el surf, viajar, cocinar y compartir tiempo con amigos y familia.
  
  En nuestra finca tenemos jardín, huerta, perros, gatos y gallinas, por lo que nuestra casa suele tener bastante movimiento y vida.

  We are an active and open-minded family who enjoys sharing our lifestyle, culture, and interests with people from different backgrounds. Living with us, you will have the opportunity to experience authentic family life in Spain while improving your language skills and learning about local customs and traditions.
  
  We know our area very well and can recommend plenty of sports, outdoor, and cultural activities to enjoy nearby. We love surfing, hiking, cycling, spending time in nature, exploring the coast, and discovering local events and traditions.
  
  We are also passionate about cooking and love exchanging recipes and culinary traditions from different countries. Sharing meals is an important part of our family life, and we would enjoy learning new dishes and flavors from your culture while introducing you to ours.
  
  We do not prioritize English or any other specific language. However, if you speak another language, it would be a wonderful opportunity for the children to learn naturally through everyday interaction and play.
  
  We believe cultural exchange is a two-way experience. We would be delighted to help you discover our region and way of life while also learning from your experiences, traditions, and perspective.
  
  Somos una familia activa y de mente abierta a la que le gusta compartir su estilo de vida, su cultura y sus intereses con personas de diferentes países. Viviendo con nosotros, tendrás la oportunidad de experimentar la auténtica vida familiar en España, mejorar tus habilidades lingüísticas y conocer nuestras costumbres y tradiciones.
  
  Conocemos muy bien la zona y podemos recomendarte numerosas actividades deportivas, culturales y al aire libre. Nos encanta el surf, el senderismo, el ciclismo, disfrutar de la naturaleza, recorrer la costa y descubrir eventos y tradiciones locales.
  
  También nos apasiona la cocina y nos encanta intercambiar recetas y tradiciones culinarias de diferentes países. Compartir las comidas es una parte importante de nuestra vida familiar, y nos hará mucha ilusión aprender nuevos platos y sabores de tu cultura mientras te enseñamos los nuestros.
  
  No priorizamos el inglés ni ningún otro idioma específico, aunque si hablas otra lengua será una gran oportunidad para que los niños aprendan de forma natural.
  
  Creemos que el intercambio cultural debe ser una experiencia enriquecedora para ambas partes. Estaremos encantados de ayudarte a descubrir nuestra región y nuestra forma de vida, al mismo tiempo que aprendemos de tus experiencias, tradiciones y forma de ver el mundo.

  Arbeit

  We are looking for a caring, responsible, independent person with initiative to help us primarily with childcare in the afternoons while we are working, and occasionally during adult leisure activities or evenings out.
  
  We are not looking for someone who simply supervises the children; we would love to find someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with kids: playing with them, preparing snacks, going out into the garden, painting, taking walks, and coming up with fun activities. We will show you their routines and will always be available if you need support, but we value someone who is able to manage confidently and work independently.
  
  Living Together and Daily Life
  
  For us, it is very important that you feel free and independent. When you are off duty, you are completely free to enjoy your time and make the most of the surroundings.
  
  As we will be sharing a home, we believe in the natural cooperation that comes with everyday family life:
  
  Shared Daily Tasks: Small day-to-day responsibilities that are part of adult life, such as tidying up after meals, unloading the dishwasher, taking out the compost, or letting us know if household supplies are running low.
  
  Visitors and Quiet Hours: You are welcome to receive friends or your partner (maximum of one visitor at a time, with prior notice). Extended stays by third parties are not permitted. We will agree on mutual quiet and rest hours from the beginning to ensure everyone feels comfortable.
  
  Transportation: As we live in a rural area, public transport is limited. Having your own vehicle or a driving licence valid in Spain will give you much greater freedom and independence to get around and explore the area.
  
  We offer the possibility of including meals and sharing the family groceries, based on a healthy Mediterranean diet with low sugar content
  
  We will coordinate day-to-day schedules for using and keeping the kitchen tidy.
  
  In general, cooking responsibilities are shared and coordinated among the adults in the household in an organized and collaborative way.
  
  Qué buscamos y responsabilidades
  Buscamos a una persona cariñosa, responsable, independiente y con iniciativa para ayudarnos principalmente con el cuidado de los niños por las tardes mientras trabajamos y en ocasiones puntuales de ocio adulto.
  
  No buscamos a alguien que solo los vigile; nos gustaría encontrar a alguien a quien le guste estar con niños: jugar con ellos, preparar meriendas, salir al jardín, pintar, pasear e inventar actividades. Te enseñaremos sus rutinas y estaremos disponibles para lo que necesites, pero valoramos que puedas desenvolverte con autonomía.
  
  Convivencia y Vida Cotidiana
  Para nosotros es fundamental que te sientas libre e independiente: cuando estás libre, estás totalmente libre. Queremos que disfrutes de tu tiempo y del entorno.
  
  Al compartir casa, entendemos la convivencia desde la colaboración natural de cualquier hogar:
  
  Tareas compartidas cotidianas: Pequeñas cosas de adultos como recoger tras comer, vaciar el lavavajillas, bajar el compost o avisar si se agota algo.
  
  Visitas y descanso: Puedes recibir a amigos o pareja (máximo 1 persona a la vez en formato visita, previo aviso). No se aceptan estancias prolongadas de terceros. Acordaremos horarios de descanso mutuos desde el inicio.
  
  Movilidad: Al estar en un entorno rural el transporte público es limitado, por lo que disponer de vehículo propio o carné de conducir te dará mucha más autonomía para moverte.
  
  Manutención: compartirás la comida de la compra familiar, basada en una dieta mediterránea, sana y baja en azúcares
  
  Nos coordinaremos en el día a día para organizar los horarios de uso y la limpieza de la cocina.
  Lo habitual será compartir y coordinar las labores de cocinar entre los adultos de la casa de forma ordenada

  Independent Accommodation (Preferred): You are welcome to bring your own van, campervan, caravan, or similar vehicle and make full use of all the facilities and amenities on our property.
  
  Private Room: Your own bedroom within the main house.

  Alojamiento independiente (Prioritario): Puedes traer tu furgoneta, caravana o similar y hacer uso completo de las instalaciones de la finca.
  Habitación privada: Tu propio dormitorio dentro de la vivienda principal.

  During your time off, there are plenty of opportunities to explore and enjoy the area. We live close to beautiful beaches, coastal towns, and natural parks, making it a great place for outdoor activities such as surfing, hiking, cycling, swimming, and exploring nature.
  
  The region also offers a rich cultural life, with local festivals, markets, traditional food, and charming villages to discover. We will be happy to recommend places to visit and activities based on your interests.
  
  There is a local bus line nearby, although service is limited. We are located about 5 km from the nearest town, where you will find additional public transport connections and amenities. Having a driving licence valid in Spain can be a great advantage and will give you much greater independence during your stay.
  
  We are looking for someone who would like to become part of our family life and enjoy a genuine cultural exchange. At the same time, we fully respect your independence and personal time, and we want you to make the most of your experience in our region.
  
  Durante tu tiempo libre, tendrás muchas oportunidades para explorar y disfrutar de la zona. Vivimos cerca de hermosas playas, pueblos costeros y espacios naturales, lo que la convierte en un lugar ideal para practicar actividades al aire libre como surf, senderismo, ciclismo, natación o simplemente disfrutar de la naturaleza.
  
  La región también ofrece una rica vida cultural, con festivales locales, mercados, gastronomía tradicional y encantadores pueblos por descubrir. Estaremos encantados de recomendarte lugares que visitar y actividades según tus intereses.
  
  Hay una línea de autobús cercana, aunque las conexiones son limitadas. Nos encontramos a unos 5 km del núcleo urbano más próximo, donde encontrarás más opciones de transporte público y servicios. Tener un permiso de conducir válido en España puede ser una gran ventaja y te proporcionará mucha más independencia durante tu estancia.
  
  Buscamos a alguien que quiera formar parte de nuestra vida familiar y disfrutar de un auténtico intercambio cultural. Al mismo tiempo, respetamos plenamente tu independencia y tu tiempo personal, y queremos que aproveches al máximo tu experiencia en nuestra región.

There is Wi-Fi coverage throughout the house and outdoor areas of the property. If you are working remotely, you will be able to use your private room or common areas as a workspace during your free time. We live in a peaceful rural setting, which provides a quiet and relaxing environment for focused work while still being close to the coast and nearby towns. We understand the importance of a stable internet connection for digital nomads and remote workers, and many online activities can be comfortably carried out from our home.
