Beschreibung
We are a small clinic caring for Koh Phangan's stray, temple & wild animals and dedicated to improving the lives since 2001. We are a Non-Profit organization and rely entirely on donations, volunteers and sponsorship to carry out our work. Not only that, but we receive no government funding, and rely heavily on the good-will of the local community, tourists and friends.
We provide medical care and have a dedicated neutering and vaccination program carried out with the help of volunteer vets and vet nurses.
We provide daily hospital care for many animals who have more serious conditions, and also out-patient care.
Our mission is to keep Koh Phangan Rabies Free, through vaccination and education.
We control the dog and cat population through neutering of all stray and temple animals and through promotion of the neutering of owned animals. We provide nursing care to animals and educate the public in responsible animal care.Arten von Hilfe und Lernmöglichkeiten

We need our volunteers to be 100% reliable, responsible and have the animal's welfare on their list of priorities at all time. Failure to turn up will impact the island's animals heavily.
At the moment we need 2 types of volunteers:
-living on-site and can commit to 5 shifts a week (4 hours per shift) for a period of at least 1 month.
- living in their own accommodations and can commit to a minimum of 2 shifts per week and at least 3 weeks of commitment.
Here is a list of the daily tasks which could be performed. Please do not think that this is a pet the puppies only kind of place, we are a hospital with sick animals.
- Feeding all in-patients
- Cleaning kennels
- Laundry
- Poo picking
- Dog walking
- Socializing animals
- Tick-picking & spraying
- Giving treatment to ill or recovering animals

To discover the island, it is best to rent a scooter. Koh Phangan is also famous for its Full Moon Parties which take place on the other side of the island and also numerous other parties happening thought the weeks.
