  I live in Southern Ireland down by the sea. I have 75 acres on a penninsula some is farmed, also woodland and rewilding projects, ponds etc., I Have one energetic dog Puca and two chickens. I have a large vegetable garden and also a good forestry and land. I am looking for anyone willing to help around the place. It is physical work but a good variety of things to do and learn.They will live in my house or the cottage nearby. Share cooking and general day to day life. I have had many people staying here in exchange for board and food etc., but through the woofer Ireland site. I always want people to come and stay in this unique place and it is a perfect time for people who want to enjoy the countryside way of life. It might suit someone wishing to write or just take time out away from their normal working environment. It is a peaceful location and would also suit people who are digital nomads.

  I have had many people to stay here from all over the world and I have learnt a lot from each person who visits and vica versa. Due to the variety of work and activities here there is a lot that can be learnt. Being close to the sea there are many activities on the water including Kayaks to borrow, swimming and beach life.

  Arbeit

  Working with me around the place. I am creating a place that has rewilding, new pond areas, forest walks, polytunnel, general garden help etc., Always something new to do.
  
  Separately to the help needed I also look for people who would like to stay over winter in a cottage nearby. This would suit someone wishing to take time out or wanting do a project or who can work from home. In exchange the person could sometimes help in the garden, look after the animals if I go away etc., but for the time over winter I just ask people staying in the cottage to pay for their own electricity. This would be great for someone wishing to take time out over winter to recharge.

  Unterkunft

  People will sleep in the main house in a large double room with bathroom next door. The house is a good side with conservatory and large sitting room and kitchen. It has a view of the sea that is just on your doorstep! Or living in the nearby cottage which would suit a couple or two friends and then do your own breakfast but eat main meals in the main house.

  We have bicycles to borrow. We have kayaks also if people have experience. Nearby there is a local farmers market I visit each week. many sites to see and things to do including whale watching, fishing, walking, hiking, bicycling etc.,

  there is plenty of time for your own work as long as the animals are taken care of. I sometimes go away and look for people who can look after the place including watering the garden looking after chickens and the do who needs a good walk each day.
