Beschreibung
We, Helena and Fabian, run a small permaculture-inspired farm (8 hectares) focused on sustainability, self-sufficiency and biodiversity. The farm includes vegetable gardens, fruit and nut orchards, meadows, woodland, a greenhouse and more. We also have happy chickens and lovely ducks.
We use a variety of ecological solutions such as compost toilets, masonry stoves, rainwater harvesting and natural water filtration. Since taking over the farm in early 2025, we’ve been working to restore a biologically rich landscape, renovate the buildings and expand the gardens.
The farm is peacefully located in a beautiful natural landscape surrounded by lakes, pastures and forests. The nearest city is Kristianstad (about 20 km away), and there’s a bus connection from the nearest village, approximately 8 km from the farm, so a bike or car is optional.
We also run a small business in nature conservation, tree care and gardening (Levande landskap). Once a month we arrange courses mainly on the farm. The volonteers are not part of the business.

We have travelled extensively and volunteered on many farms ourselves, and we enjoy sharing experiences, knowledge, and cultural exchange with people from different backgrounds.
Arbeit
During autumn 2025 (October and November), we’re primarily looking for volunteers to help with planting fruit and nut trees, harvesting and storing vegetables, caring for animals and taking part in various small wooden projects on the farm (depending on your skills and interests). A handy, happy couple is optional.

Unterkunft
There are several accommodation options on the farm. We have two houses and a tiny house, allowing us to host volunteers with different preferences and needs during the summer. During winter we have one extra room in the main house. If you’re staying for a shorter period, we share two meals together and you eat one by yourself. For longer stays, you’ll prepare some of your own meals, but we also enjoy eating together whenever it fits.
As described, we eat mostly two meals together per day and you prepair one by your selves.
