Beschreibung
We are an extended family of 3/6 people, dogs and cats. We live in the south Italy (trulli area). We work in a small design company with a workshop, studio and hospitality. We work, also, with macrohabitat, association network of artists, architects and farmers.

At this time the olive harvest is at the beginning. We make organic oil from our centenary olive trees. We are also working on the restoration of an old farmhouse. We are about to complete the plasters and floors with the "cocciopesto" technique.

Kultureller Austausch und Lernmöglichkeiten
It's important for us the balance between help and rest. And it's a pleasure to introduce you our land and our friends. And...suggest a community life experience among Puglia's trulli and nature.
As exchange we suggest also workshops above using bio materials in buildings, creating together installations and performances, living in one of the most magic places of Italy and of course maintaining here an own space to share always allowable...

Arbeit
::: During this time we are only available for a house project and some works in organic garden:::

Commonly we need help from January/May and October/November (but it changes every year). At the end of October and first week of November we have the Olive Harvest! We use the traditional method of olive picking. It takes some more time, but gives a lot of pleasure. Also our son Yan Maria used to harvest olives every year :)).

We also need someone to cary and look after our son Yan (some hours in the afternoon, when he comes back from chidrengarden). It's very important to love to stay with children if you want to make this type of experience.
He is very social and indipendent boy.

We need help to restore and renovate the house. We work with stone, wood, clay and earth, iron, glass, etc... We love and respect the traditional constraction manner of this land. But we also are very open for new ideas and possibilities that respect the natural living/greenbuilding.

In spring there is a lot of work in the garden.
In april we whitewash our house outside and inside with a lime paint. It takes some days and your help is like always very appreciated )).

Our house is lamia and trulli, the typical buildings in Puglia. In the heel of Italy (Itria Valley), between the Ionian and Adriatic seas.

We live about 3 km from the center. From the center you can take the bus and trains. You can visit the villages of the Valley of Trulli, but also the cities of Puglia, Bari, 70 km, Lecce 80 km, Brindisi and Taranto 50 km. The Sea 15 km.
