Hi, we are Kasia and Kuba we met in the forest and now we walk together throu life. Both of us have run away from big and crowded cities to settled down in a small and quite village in Subcarpathean region. We live in beautiful place where we want to start a small farm and be a part of a local community. Two years ago we bought a land with old wooden house, which is surrounded by old orchard with many shrubs, fruits and walnut trees.
Unfortunatelly, but on the other hand luckily, the house is in such a bad condition that the only way to save it is to dismentel the building. To fulfil our dream we decided to build a new house in the place of the old one. We want to do it with respect to the traditional way of building with a help of modern tools and devices.
Kuba, who is a carpenter, has already built a small wooden cottage in the village. We used to live there for a while but now we want to build a new house for ourselves.
Me, I am a gardener who want to transform our land into sustainable, eco – divers and resiliant food forest garden in a permacultur way of seeing and understanding life and nature.
Just come and join and enjoy our project. We can offer you food and stay in exchange for your help. The working time will be 5 hours a day, 5 days a week. But if you feel like working more (or less) it is also fine and up to you.
Officialy, we can host you from beginning of July but there will be some work to do in June. We need to adopt our barn to living conditions – built a kitchen, shower and some sleeping places – we don't mind some volunteers coming earlier and joining us. Till the barn is ready you can sleep in the old house. We can aslo arrange some space for a tent.
Even thou there is plenty of work we cannot forget of some fun and relax in the free time so bring your hammock, yoga mat, musical instruments, good ideas, smile on your face and enjoy the vibe!

Staying in our place will be a great opportunity to learn something about construction (including a bit of wooden construction) and gardening,
While in Poland in Subcarpatean region you can discover contemorary polish village and all kinds of lockal issues. It is a chance to catch some Polish words and find out more about this Eastern-European country.
If you love nature, it moght be a good chance to learn about natural forest protecion and eco-activism.
So this summer we will ask you to help us with dismantling the old house and construction of foundation for the new one. There will be also some work in the garden and in the kitchen - there is always a need for extra hands to make homemade preserves. But the first and foremost is the construction.
We are also in a phase of planing our farm in a permaculture spirit so all advises and all points of view are very wellcome!

There is also an opportunity to join a protest camp for natural forest protection in Pogórze Przemyskie.
There are many buses coming from Rzeszów to nearby village from where we can pick you up.

We can host digital nomads only if they help us with the project. Internet connection is fine, zoom/skype works well but the amount of GB per month is limmited.
Everything depends on the size of camper/van. Our land is situated on a sloped hill so there is not that much of a flat space. If you come here in a van, please let us know beforhand so we can arrange a place.
