  Hi!
  We live in one of the prettiest areas of Southwestern Ontario on a large property just outside the town of Port Dover.
  With lots of gardens, a big house to take care of and little projects on the go, we always have something we need a hand with.
  If you work well independently, are handy around the house, and happy to entertain yourself, we hope to hear from you.

  Our home is located just outside the town of Port Dover.
  
  In the past Port Dover was the largest freshwater fishing fleet in the world. Over the years the fishing industry has slowed down and the town has since morphed into a charming little tourist town.
  
  We have an excellent live theatre, an interesting museum, lots of great restaurants, walking trails and a beach that draws people in from all over.
  
  Our area has also become the newest Ontario Wine Region and Norfolk County also boasts some great craft breweries.

  Arbeit

  Depending on our needs at the time of your request, we may need:
  help in the garden - weeding flower beds, spreading mulch, trimming bushes, cutting the grass
  
  help in the house - dusting, washing floors, washing walls, cleaning tubs & toilets, cleaning windows, organizing closest;
  
  Other help might include painting projects, building projects, a general hand around the place; computer help.
  
  During your stay you will be expected to keep your space tidy and clean up after yourself.
  
  Getting Here
  We are happy to pick you up and drop you off at the Go Bust Station on Hunter St in Hamilton. You can get there easily by bus from Toronto.
  Pick up and drop off will be arranged around my work hours.

  Unterkunft

  Our kids have grown and moved out of the home we will set aside space in the rec room for you, downstairs. You'll have your own private space to sit, read, watch tv, and sleep. Depending on the time of your arrival, you may have the use of a bedroom upstairs.
  
  As we're outside of town, we have a bicycle and helmet set aside for your use. A ride into town would take you about 15-20 minutes.
  
  As for meals, we're happy to be sure you have breakfast lunch and supper. Chances are you'll be on your own for breakfast & lunch and we can take turns with dinners. Everyone helps clean up after meals.
  When I'm home and have time, I'm happy to cook and when I'm not we may enjoys leftovers or you'll have to fend for yourself.
  
  We do have wifi that is accessible to you but it is not suitable for streaming, downloading or extended video conversations.
  
  Getting Here
  We are happy to pick you up and drop you off at the Go Bust Station on Hunter St in Hamilton. You can get there easily by bus from Toronto.

  Within bicycle or walking distance you can explore our pretty little town, go to the beach or visit our local winery. (within 5km)
  During the summer months we have public transportation that takes you from Port Dover to some of the wineries and other points of interest nearby. (Turkey Point, Long Point, New Limberg Brewery)
  
  Autumn in Ontario is one of the most beautiful time of the year and it's a great time to ride the trails or hike in nature.
