  Beschreibung

  We are a family of three, Anna, Hamish and Ada with a dog called Russ, chickens and four cows. Ideally we are looking for a couple to help us out with gardening and keeping our small farm tidy. But we would love to hear your personal skills and what you would like to offer in return for a fancy pad and some tasty kai. We have a lovely two-bedroom self-contained cottage to offer Workaway people in a rural setting close to beaches, hills and the community centre. The Moutere has lots on offer!

  We are a typical New Zealand rural family with one 4-year-old girl and a 4-year-old Vizsla dog. We can tell you all about our region and set you on some great adventures.

  Arbeit

  We have a lot of gardening to do, weeding and getting things ready for winter and planting spring bulbs and living mulch. We also have some house painting and staining work if that's something that interests you.

  Unterkunft

  We offer a self-contained two-bedroom cottage. This has a lovely pot belly fire to keep you cosy as well as heaters and electric blankets. This cottage is renovated to a pretty high standard, as it's usually on a rental platform when not hosting volunteers.
  
  We can supply ingredients for Workaway people to cook for themselves, or we are happy to negotiate a reduced workload for you to prepare your meals with your own ingredients. We would love to share some dinners; however, with a 4-year-old, we do eat very early, so only if that suits the workers. Otherwise, ingredients will be supplied to be self-contained, or, if you would like to supply your own ingredients, we can just give you a lighter workload.
