We are a family of 3 in Belmont, Geelong - Goshen, Katrina and Asher
We are just 5mins walk to shops and transport and 30mins by car or bus to the surfcoast (Beaches).
Our 1/4 Acre permaculture garden is a lot to manage, and we need help keeping this amazing space productive and the weeds down. There are many aspects of assistance that can be provided, including learning experiences around composting, seed-raising, pruning and much more.
We have chickens, bees (fresh eggs and honey), a food forest, and extensive veg garden and fruit trees.
There are water collection systems, ponds, solar power and many other features of a sustainable home.
I run a small permaculture design business, and am happy to discuss many aspects of permaculture, it's methods and techniques.
We have spare bedroom with a double bed and desk. With it's own access via our indoor greenhouse. Bathroom is shared with our 14yo Son.
Happy to host individuals or couples looking for a few hours of garden work and much spare time for visiting the city, Surfcoast or Geelong region. Our meals are fairly simple / conventional - but often using as much from the garden as possible.
PS - Hobbies include Rockclimbing and Kiteboarding - so we may be able assist with extra experiences in these areas if you have a shared interest.

Our son is learning Italian, and happy to share experiences with people from different cultures.
We are members of / connected to various local community groups including Community Orchard, Transition Strees / Towns and Sustainability Groups.
Arbeit
Working in our Permaculture Garden. Variety of weeding, planting, working with composts and watering. Host can work alongside you to mentor / provide advice and share skills, but there is also room to do tasks unsupervised.
