Hello searchers, here we are (English and Greek) couple in our late 40's who have been enjoying the life down here in Mani for 5 years. We are vegetarians, sociable, creative, active, animal lovers who are trying to find some help to go on with the project that we took on to renovate an old village house.

Mani peninsula is an area of exceptional natural beauty where the mountains rise up from the blue blue sea and this landscape provides a setting for many kinds of outdoor activities. The weather is beautiful.
The land is steeped in history from ancient greeks to the beginning of the revolution. We have kayaks and small sailing boat which our visitors always enjoy. There are great opportunities for climbers in the nearby area. Walking trails are plentiful and you can climb from here to the highest point in the peloponnese at 2.407m.
We live in another house close to the beach and often walk to the project house.

~ This little house has been closed and alone most of the year because we end up being busy most of the day, trying to work etc. We need a help, if someone, or a couple has skills and likes the idea of staying there and make it more and more livable is welcome. Has only the basics like a house, is located inside the village called Prastio, above Kardamili. We cannot promise that we will be able to be there with you daily. Depends on our work etc.

~ We are renovating an old house (maybe 300 years old) in a village in Southern Greece. We need hands for building and creative projects in the house and garden. We are building using traditional techniques with traditional materials. The house will be off grid and we are trying to renovate the place in a creative and environmentally sustainable way. The project includes working with stone, woodworking, electrics, plumbing, tiling, plastering, pointing, furniture renovation and many other things.

The house has one room that you can stay there, almost ready to stay, 70 sq.m. We are staying there for a month per year and the rest of the year we are staying in an other village near to the house. Has a double bed, a kitchen, a sofa, a table, water and a craft compost toilet out in the garden. See the pictures.
