Tony and Ross were the first hosts I stayed with here in Australia, and it couldn't have been better. They live on a beautiful property in a very nice house with their two energetic dogs, Bertram and Ms. Ellen.
I stayed with them for almost two weeks in January (this review is very late), and I would have liked to stay longer if that had been an

They introduced me to some of their good friends, and I was always offered to join them if they went somewhere. I always felt appreciated and safe :)
I look forward to possibly seeing them again soon.
Tony and Ross are incredibly considerate, caring, and thoughtful hosts. Our time with them was fun, enriching, and safe. Most of our work involved helping to mulch their beautiful large garden, occasionally cooking, going grocery shopping together, or taking care of their dogs when they were away.
They treated us like friends, laughing and joking
… read more around with us (Ross and Eunice were always playfully teasing each other), and like family, including us in their daily lives, introducing us to their friends, and sharing ideas and joys with us. They were also like wise mentors, generously sharing their experiences, inviting us to explore various artistic and cultural films and activities, ensuring our safety, and caring for our needs.
In our brief three weeks together, we are so grateful for Tony and Ross taking us to experience a variety of local activities, including the Canberra Gallery, National Museum, Tulip Festival, the zoo, and historic towns and pubs.
If you have an interest in culture, human rights, art, or history, Tony and Ross can offer many interesting perspectives and suggestions. We highly recommend this workaway experience to anyone looking to explore life in Canberra. Tony, Ross, and their lovely dogs, Bertie and Miss Ellen, have created unforgettable memories for us. Thank you for everything in Canberra, and we wish you all the best. Sending you our love and warmest blessings.
Tasha and Eunice were respectful, considerate and sensitive in all their communications and behaviours. We couldn’t have had a better couple , they worked hard and cooked some delicious meals and extended our knowledge of Asian cooking and shopping! We had a lot of fun!! We wish them well on their journey.

Tony and Ross, such a beautiful couple and 2 amazing people ! They are really easy to live with, always have a nice word for the work you do and really accommodating!
I went swimming many times with Tony, learnt a lot about gardening and planting trees, and was able to test many recipes ! They also took me to Queanbeyan or Canberra when I needed
… read more too, and I even went away to the coast with them and some friends. Lovely time.
The dogs are super friendly and really fun to have around. They are always happy to cuddle and it was also a pleasure to see them interacting with Tony and Ross, you can tell dogs love them as much as they do! I had a lot of fun taking the 2 cuties for walks and we spotted kangaroos almost every day, which is quite impressive for a French girl like me.
The accommodation couldn't be better as well. I had my own space with bedroom and bathroom, and a huge bed (+TV!) to enjoy.
I spent 2-3 unforgettable months with them and consider myself very lucky for that. We had lovely meals and evenings together, it felt like being part of their lovely family.
A huge thanks again to you !!
Just as a side note, I had a part time job on the side in Canberra and was only there 4-5 days a week so I made the most of it but be aware that the place is quite isolated if you don't have a car, even if Tony and Ross were always super nice giving me a lift to work!
But I would 100% recommend you this experience as you can have a different view of the Australian living style with formidable people !Du kannst nur Workawayer mit aktiver Mitgliedschaft kontaktieren.

I had such a pleasant time staying with Tony and Ross in their beautiful house on their beautiful vineyard with the most adorable duo of dogs. Amazing private room with bathroom as well. They took me to Canberra multiple times, taught me a lot about Australia, and they made amazing healthy food. The property is full of kangaroos which was an

Vom Host für Workawayer (Adelyn)
Adelyn was very keen and asked lots of questions about what we liked and how we'd like our house run. She was very attentive to tasks and cooked us lots of beautiful Asian meals and lots of cakes and cookies. She looked after our dog very well too. I enjoyed my stay with Tony and Ross, they were friendly and easy to get along with. The work was varied, not difficult and there was lots to keep busy with. It was great learning a bit about working with the vines and also having the opportunity to explore the surrounding areas and Canberra during downtime. The accommodation was also comfortable

Tony and Ross are lovely people to work for. They always kept me busy, but also gave me downtime to relax and explore Canberra. Their dog is absolutely a sweetheart and very fun to take on walks. Working with the vines was a fantastic learning experience; as was working in the restaurant. I highly recommend paying a visit to Tony and Ross!
