Help with small home tasks on a wooden ship in Zeeland, Netherlands

  Hi we are Jurgen and Jolien. For the past 5 years we have been working on our wooden ship from 1958. She has been converted from a fishing vessel to a pleasure craft. We put our heart in this non profit project and are now looking for people who can stay on her and maintain her. You will sleep in one of the berths just under the water line. Make food in our nice fully renovated kitchen or take a shower on board in the bathroom. We even have a sauna on board.
  
  What we need is trust worthy people who understand that they are living on a wooden ship and that being careful with fire and electricity is the way of living. She has all the comforts you can wish for but also is an old lady and deserves some love. She needs to be heated everyday and there are always some (small) jobs lying around.
  
  The ship is in a Harbor in Zeeland the south of the Netherlands. To go to the closest supermarket is 10 minutes with the bike. Further the biggest cities around are Goes and Middelburg. If you love the ocean this is the place for you to be because she will be right at the beach! Take a stroll with sunset on the beach and find some beautiful shells. Or look at the water and you might spot a seal.
  
  For us it is important volunteers would like to be on board starting from end October. 2 people are enough. We have spots available until the end of January. Preferably the same people the whole period. Please be aware that you will be by yourself 90% of the time. You need to be able to work on yourself and cook for yourself. It is always possible that we come and visit or other people that would need to work on the boat.
  
  We are a couple traveled the world and love going on new adventures. We where just in Norway for splitboarding and the arctic nature. We are always looking to connect with honest humans in the future =)

  You will be in the south of the Netherlands during off season. The people that are there are the real Dutchies. They will communicate direct with you and if you need anything they are always happy to help. The area that the boat is staying knows different old cities where you can walk around enjoy museums, local food, and other events. There is also nature available, big beaches surrounded by dunes and old forest will give you a lovely day outside. If you love watersport this is the place to be. Kite surfing and wind surfing is at its best here!

  Unterkunft

  In the boat are several berths available. This is the word on boats for 'rooms'. Don't expect a big ass room for yourself and your big suite case. We have 3 small rooms available where in every room is a bunk bed. Because we will not need more then 2/3 people per stay you will have a room for yourself. This berths will be in the belly of the boat. Also in the belly of the boat is the common space for chill, fire, music, read, creativity etc. One stairs up will be the shower, sauna and toilet. For the kitchen you have to take a small walk over the deck outside. The kitchen knows two nice benches and has an oven, fridge and stove.
