We are an agricultural farm that produces goats, chickens, fish, vegetables and grains. We also have honey bees, and we also produce milk. Our aim is to support the whole community in providing modern agricultural knowledge and resources; and to upgrade their farming business and lifestyle. We also are promoting agro-tourism in the region. We run the farm with our family.

Travelers will be able to experience very traditional Nepali culture and ways of life. They will benefit by learning how to produce vegetables and experience animal husbandry. They will experience first hand the rural landscape of Nepal in a very natural environment. Since we are relatively close to the Himalayas, we have a beautiful panorama of the Ganesh Himal range. There are more than 100 species of wild birds in the surrounding ecosystem and travelers will be able to view and capture pictures of them. While taking care of the goats, travelers will be able to experience jungle safari and learn about many wild beneficial plants. Travelers will be able to learn about Hindu philosophy since we have keen knowledge in Hinduism.
We need people who can garden with us. We also need people who can accompany the goats in the pasture while foraging and collect grass for the goats and buffalo that don't go to forage. Because we have many chickens, we need people to look after them during the day time. Sometimes we may need people to help us in general construction. We usually work 5 hours a day 5 days a week, but the shift may vary according to the season.
Workawayers will be staying with us in a earthquake resistant concrete and brick house. We will provide bedding and blankets. We have 2 rooms that can accommodate 4 people each, but couples can have a private room. The vegetarian meals will be mostly composed of homemade organic vegetables. We eat 4 times a day, including a light breakfast in the morning and afternoon tea.
We have the largest tree in Gorkha near by. Travelers will be able to visit temples in the locality. There is a short hike to the peak of Mahadev Danda where rhododendron flowers in February to March. The famous Manakamana temple is located about 4 hours walk from here and transportation is also available. Gorkha city and the Gorakhkali temple is 2 hours by bus and a day trip is possible.
We are a easy going and cooperative small family. We are living in a traditional village following Hinduism so, travelers have to follow local customs and are not allowed to disrespect Hinduism.
