Hello naturelovers!
I am Verena, living in a small paradise and I am having the honor to be the guardian over a 3200 qm land, close to the center of Graz (15 km).
The land is elevated in a small valley surrounded by hills and forests. Around are only a few houses, Horses and fields full of wildlife. 2/3 of the land itself is very steep with a vegetable garden and an orchard with over 60 trees: apples, nuts, peaches, plums, grapes which are waiting for your help to harvest from June to end of October.
I am living in an experiment how it is to live with and from nature, wild and free and responsible with mother earth. This simple and self determined lifestyle is making me very happy, although it is sometimes challenging. Specially for me, since I still struggle physically with fatigue syndrom, I need good people which are not shy to all kind of tasks and able to work also in hard physical work and independent, selfmotivated and joyful.
I am always full of inspiration and far away from the consumption mode and I like to collect and use recycling materials and create all kind of things on the place.
At the moment I need help for construction work, plumbing, woodcraft, electricity, grass cutting with a scythe and harvest. handy people are very welcome!
At the moment life here is also super basic, you would live in a caravan with Outdoor shower and dry toilet.
The diet is vegan and simple with a high amount of raw food, smoothies, salads, fruits, wild herbs from the own garden. I am living mostly on rawfood. For breakfast everyone can take what they want and for afternoon, I am preparing a big salad usually together with the people that are staying here. Since life is basic, cleaning and housework is like zero.
At the moment I don’t own a car, if you come you can come by bus (busstation is 3km away) or eventually I can lend a car if necessary.

Living the creative way with, from and for mother nature, working with recyclingmaterials, permaculture, raw food, how to get independent from the system, edible plants. Also with my workawayers I learned to be a German teacher, but I can only do that if there is already a good basis. I speak high german, no slang.
Arbeit
The life in nature is demanding and I really need to have practical, responsible, skillful people which are aware of what is needed to be done, are self-motivated and can work also independently. Even though the place is amazingly regenerating and provides a lot of energy, it is not a holiday place to chill out I (but in your free time of course you can chill :).
I give freedom in the timing you want to work, just looking for balance in giving and receiving and that things are moving forward.
I need people which have some of the following skills: Building with wood, carpentry, repair projects, electricity.

Styria is a very scenic country with mainly hills and mountains. The nearby city of Graz is easily reachable by bus. The bus station is 3 km away, andor you take the bicycle to reach the bus. The city of Graz is announced as worldheritage with a broad cultural program.
3km from my place is a clean and beautiful small lake free accessible at any time.
