  Join us in the heart of the Georgian Alps, Gudauri, and experience the thrill of volunteering in a breathtaking mountain setting while contributing to a vibrant hospitality scene. Our tiny cafe operates on a self-service model, with all food and drinks served from the bar. Our small, local team consists of a cook, a steward, a cashier, and a barista.
  Your Role:
  As a volunteer, you'll be part of a dynamic team supporting our operations. From assisting in the housekeeping and maintaining our outdoor terrace (which means removing all the outdoor furniture during the heavy snow, digging them out if the snow covers them an putting them back on the terrace), your contributions will be invaluable. While you won't be directly serving customers, you'll play a vital role in ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for our guests.
  I’m Nutsa, lucky enough to call Tbilisi, Georgia, my hometown. This little country is packed with surprises and adventures. I love sharing my life story; storytelling is a big part of our culture. It’s all about those face-to-face connections.
  
  After spending 14 years in marketing, I leaped into hospitality. It all started with Georgian wine. I worked at the biggest winery in the country for five years and fell head over heels for it. Georgia is basically the birthplace of wine, with a winemaking history that stretches back over 8,000 years! From there, I got into food and eventually opened my cafe.
  
  Seven years ago, my friend and I opened our business in Gudauri, the highest point in Georgia. It was a crazy idea, but we made it happen! Now, I feel thrilled whenever I look from my private clouds and watch the guests' impressed faces. For the first time this season, we are open to having volunteers in this stunning place.
  
  Life:
  Imagine waking up to the crisp mountain air and breathtaking views of the Georgian Alps. That's everyday life here! This place is a total adventure playground. Whether you're into skiing, snowboarding, or even skydiving, Gudauri has got you covered.
  
  Our cafe is a one-of-a-kind experience. You can only get here by lift, ski tour, or snowmobile, so it's definitely off the beaten path. Working here is like living in a postcard. You'll get to know the locals, learn about Georgian culture, and make memories that will last a lifetime.
  Living in the mountains means the weather is a wild card. We've had days when our whole cafe was buried in snow! It was a crazy adventure digging it out. But that's the beauty of this place. It's perfect for anyone who wants to live a little wild and experience the best of Georgia's outdoor lifestyle.
  
  Gudauri's nightlife is pretty lively, too. There are tons of bars and festivals going on. Even though we live up high, we sometimes head down to the lower part of Gudauri for some fun."
