Hi!
My name is Petar, I'm an easy-going and innovative guy in my twenties decided to do practical living after studying agroecology and to turn my grandpas ex vinyard into a food forest and make a place where people can connect more deeply to nature. The place is located at a hillside covered with forest, few minutes walk to a spring and with beautiful views reaching Hungary.
I have dreamed for years to live in a rural environment and now it is happening.
I am a lot into healing techniques and work a lot with medicinal plants and mushrooms.
Know that most of the jobs are physical and outdoor. Anyone with certain skills is always valued but learning on the go works too..
If you have artistic skills or ideas for workshops to be held you can propose and we will see about it.
I have had a fair share of volunteers run through my place and I've decided to do a sharper introduction talk with potential volunteers via online call and a test-week once you arrive.
This is not a freestay or a tourist come and go but a place where real human values are lived and nourished in all of us, therefore come ready to give but also recieve!

We can teach and show you all we know about gardening, eco building, foodforest, natural medicine..
We will often go for the river to swim, bathe and relax or the forest for walks to pick mushrooms and plants.
Arbeit
There will be fruits, berries and medicinals to use. In case someone wishes to come for longer we can plant a garden and you can have your own veg. It is quite isolated and there are mostly weekend neighbours here or there. There is a huge forest with a spring to explore.
This year I will be living in a different place 2hours away, but will be coming monthly for events (wild foods foraging, drumming workshop, eco-creative retreat, kids camp, permaculture cinema)
So I can offer free stay and use of stuff. Depending on your skills and wishes of how much you wish to contribute we can talk about covering food or possibly extra pay.
Coming as a group or couple for company is welcome but if you like or need being alone its fine too.

Unterkunft
On the hillside house you will be in a relatively small and minimalistic house. There's a room with a few beds where you might share the room with other workawayers. Ìt is a cozy room and house in which you will sleep like a bear and wake up with the sound of many birds singing a morning energetic tune just for you 😄
On the farm location the accomodation will probably be an outdoor tent or wooden house and we will have an outdoor kitchen as a communal area.
We eat a mostly vegetarian diet and wish to supply as much of the food as I can from the garden, we can be flexible around meal preparation..

Usually we have to pick you up in the nearest city Koprivnica and take you to site.
Farm location does have a shop and more urban neccesities nearby while the hillhouse is kind of isolated.
