Beschreibung
We are Peter and Alan, and we live in a rural area of Co. Kilkenny. We have spent the past 30 years with busy careers in the catering and IT sectors, and now we have more time to spend at home. We are looking for someone who can help with outdoor maintenance work like garden construction, repairing fences, etc.
Our home is an old farmhouse in a picturesque area, 12 km from Kilkenny City and 2 km from the nearest village of Gowran.
We have a large garden that we need help with clearing and maintaining. In exchange we can offer comfortable en-suite accommodation, the opportunity to visit Ireland and enjoy great food, a chance to practise English all while learning more about the culture and history of this part of Europe.
Our guest accommodation only suits a single person or a couple.

They will get a chance to live in the fresh air of the Irish countryside. In the past we have brought Workawayers to see different historic and cultural sites in the south-east of Ireland. We like to help Workawayers improve their spoken English.

A volunteer can travel with us to our nearest city, Kilkenny any morning they wish.
We have a bicycle that a volunteer can borrow.
We will provide lots of useful information about where to go and what to discover, everything from Kilkenny Castle to the places of interest in Waterford, Ireland’s oldest city.
