  Beschreibung

  We re a family living in a farm, in Tuscany countryside. We welcome volunteers who want to make a country experience, and who want to help us taking care of our baby Aimara.
  We are a small farm that has recently moved its business to Mugello. We have a chestnut wood, we have been growing saffron for almost 10 years and we breed Senese cinte pigs n the wild according to tradition. Paolo, the owner of the farm, is a pork butcher and process the meat of the farm to transform it into delicious cured meats. We vinify the grapes of an old Sangiovese vineyard with the imminent project to increase the surface area of the vineyards. For self-consumption we also breed farmyard animals and a small flock of sheep. We do not follow any biological, permaculture or biodynamic protocol, while we use to grow our products as if, each of it should feed our children with the total absence of chemicals.
  
  We are in the municipality of Vicchio, the birthplace of Giotto and Beato Angelico but only 3 km from Dicomano, on the slopes of Monte Giovi in a natural terrace overlooking the Apennine ridge.

  You can stay in a wonderful country place, with a great landscape. We are only half an hour from Florence. There is a train station, vus station near our house, and an ancient city, Dicomano, at just 7 minutes distance. You can enjoy your farm experience, learning and producing natural organic food.

  Arbeit

  We ask you to spend some time with our child, talk english/espanol and have fun with her. Also, if you are interested in country life, you can help us with animals (dog, cat, pigs, bees, chickens, ...and more), or trees(, wineyard, fruits, garden, and more and more!!) Also, you are welcome if enjoy to cook, to play music, make art, or just are a nice and positive person! If you have any practical skill(such as building, repairing, creating..) we really appreciate it!

  Unterkunft

  Your own room in our home. We share the bathroom and the kitchen. Normally we cook and eat rogether with volunteers, as members of our family!

  In your free rime you can visit Tuscany of course, Florence, but also the small villages of our area, Mugello. You can walk and trek in hills and woods. Also you can spend time in our farm.
