  We are an Italian family, we have an agriturismo in Tuscany, only 20km from Florence, in the midst of Tuscany. Our activity is welcoming guests that come here for a riding holiday. We have 30 horses, mostly Italians breeds. We have a stable for 12 horses; our horses spend their time in paddocks. We have a large outdoor sand arena. Our horses are all trained by Franco, with his own natural method.

  Arbeit

  We organize holidays for horse lovers, and look for someone who will work hard with us. Work involves preparing up to 20 horses for the guests' riding morning and afternoon, organising riding lessons and leading out different guided groups on hacks, as well as general stable / farm maintenance, and helping out in the house at meal times. Days are long and the work is hard, but varied, fun and rewarding. Our guests come mainly from Germany, Switzerland, Holland, Italy etc. You need to have a minimum riding experience. Riding is western style.

  Unterkunft

  In the farmhouse we have more than one room for the workawayers. Sometimes the room is shared with another workawayer, Bathroom is shared. The accommodation is simple, as our life is simple. As for meals, this changes according to the season. When the agriturismo is open to guests we have a chef/cook, and we eat really well. In winter, we prepare breakfast and lunch, while for dinner you are invited to prepare it together with the others workawayers. For us, meals are a time of sharing and exchange

  Was noch ...

  Being at 20 km from Florence, gives great opportunity to visit one of the most beautiful city in the world. Bus to Florence is 1 km away. Train station in Pontassieve at 7 km. However I see that most people in their time off prefer to stay in the tranquility of our farm, and relaxing by the pool, but most of all is riding and riding again.
