  Hello! Thanks for taking the time to read our profile. As we live semi rurally, it is important you have a car or van as there is no public transport where we live.
  
  We are a family of 5 living in the sweet little rural village of Federal in the Byron Bay hinterland. We love connecting with people from around the world and sharing our little piece of paradise. Our home is close to the beautiful beaches of Byron Bay and surrounds, close to fantastic national parks and waterfalls, markets and so much more.
  
  We are a family with three children living in in the Hinterland of Byron Bay. My name is Elisa and I am an English teacher and my husband is Mahdi and he is from Morocco, he speaks Arabic, French and English. Our children are two boys aged 14 and 12 and a little girl who is 7 years old. My dad, Bob lives in a studio next-door to us. We live on a 1 acre block in the sweet little village of Federal which is 20 mins drive from Byron Bay, Mullumbimby and not far from beautiful national parks and swimming holes such as Minyon Falls. There are so many beautiful spots to discover in this area including whale watching from the light house in Byron Bay, bush walking in Goonengerry National Park, the Crystal castle and the unlimited beaches surrounding the region.
  
  We would love some help with the garden and general household maintenance.

  We love to travel and see the world and are very interested in showing our children more about the world and different cultures. I am an English teacher and my husband is Mahdi and he is from Morocco, he speaks Arabic, French and English.

  Arbeit

  We are looking for workawayers to come and help with various household tasks including house maintenance, household cleaning, cooking and gardening and clearing.
  
  In exchange we ask for 4 hours of genuine work per day/ 6 days a week. This adds up to 24 hours a week which can be spread over the week as suits.

  Unterkunft

  You will be able to stay in our cosy, comfortable self contained cabin which has a queen sized bed as well as a couch and outdoor table and chairs on the little deck with a lovely hot shower and composting toilet. You will be provided with WIFI internet access, three meals a day.
  If you prefer we can do an exchange for only accomodation and you can take care of your own food. If this is the case, then 2 hours a day of help is all you need to give. We can talk about this option if you like.
