Beschreibung
I'm Scott and I've been travelling around Europe since 2004. I recently got my own piece of land to settle on where I can put into practice all of the different techniques and principles of ecological building and growing I've picked up over the years.
Before finding my own place I had an established garden where I was able to grow more than enough food to feed myself and other helpers.
Initially wanting to focus on vegetable production other projects include building using sustainable methods that fit with my off grid situation. -

We hope that helpers will learn from their experience here about growing food using organic methods and looking after the land in an ecological way. Making compost and organic fertilisers. Building using ecological principles.

Arbeit
There are a wide range of tasks to be done on the land depending on the time of year. Planting out and preparing beds, weeding watering caring for plants, harvesting, storing food. Looking after animals, I have a dog here and will be getting more chickens soon for eggs. A building project starting soon.

We have a small village with bar/cafe and shop a short walk away. The closest town is also within walking distance where there is everything you are likely to need, supermarkets, leisure centre etc. Viseu city is close by car or bus. There are hiking routes that pass the land, rivers and climbing all close by.
