Beschreibung
At the fast growing Phu Quoc island more and more kids hanging around in the streets: begging for money, selling lottery tickets and are not going to school. They are from very poor families with difficult social backgrounds and usually nobody takes care about them. So they are spending their days here like 'street kids'.
Our charity project supports these kids by providing them a safe central place for playing, learning and eating. Also our location is open for 'normal' kids from the neighbourhood, so that they all can come together and the poor kids are not feeling isolated from the society. We are calling this concept 'social inclusion'. -

A bed in a basic twin bedroom in the charity house sometimes shared with one more volunteer.
We will offer you a daily local lunch in an allied restaurant close by. -

Our charity is located in the center of the main town Duong Dong on Phu Quoc island. The daily market as well as the nightmarket are very close and its only a 10 minutes walk to the beach.
