Spent 3 months here earlier in the year and really enjoyed my time. It is such a beautiful location surrounded by wonderful views and hikes and the gorgerous lake which captures everyones attention. Oliver and Tara have supported us for about 3 months in our Hotel in Bavaria Germany. They have helped us a lot and are very responsible, independent and hard working. Oliver and I stayed in Walchensee for almost 2 months. Lillian and Lucas accepted our application very last minute.
When we arrived we were in awe of the beautiful scenery. We were immediately made feel at home.

… read more also really appreciated how as bosses they allowed us to take initiative and work independently. Never once did we feel micromanaged.
Our room was spacious, warm and comfortable, a staff meal was provided every day and we had a coffee machine in the staff kitchen which we were delighted with!
They allowed us to organize many staff evening get togethers treating us to drinks, food, bowling and movie nights. They even took us to Oktoberfest which was a highlight in our travels.
We already miss it very much and hope that someday soon we can return.

I joined the team for the summer 2023 season with no particular expectations. I was just looking for a job but I can genuinely say I left there with a whole family of co-workers that I wouldn’t trade for anything.
Lily and Lucas are a really funny, hardworking and dynamic couple. They have high standards for their work and definitely expect the
… read more same from their employees, but I always believe you get what you give and if you go in with an open mind and do your best to give your all to the project you can have a really amazing experience there. It’s important in general at any job to try to make sure you and your bosses’ expectations are aligned with what is possible, I think this is something I think I worked on with them a lot.
They’re super ambitious and you can see from everything they’ve already accomplished that it does pay off - they also do their best to listen to feedback from their team which I really appreciate and is something I think they will continue to improve on as they go.
You will be living a bit remotely, the town of Walchensee itself is very small but if you have a team anything like I had you won’t notice it. Buses in either direction also leave every hour durning the days so you have a bit of freedom, and potential use of the hotel car. The lake and the mountains are also truly magical, everyone uses that word and there’s a reason!
If you take this job you’ll work hard for sure, but you can also make so many incredible memories. If you work in the grillhouse take care not to burn the sausages and keep the fryers clean! ;)
I think about going back all the time and can’t wait to see the way the place evolves in the coming years, best wishes and thanks for everything Lily & Lucas!

Lily and Lucas were also fantastic at recommending local activities and restaurants, and they coordinated delightful team trips to Oktoberfest and up to Germany's biggest mountain, for which I am extremely thankful!
