  Hi everybody, I'm Daniele, an easy going, open minded, free spirited guy of 1968 from Catania, Sicily :)
  In 1990 I started my own production of mediterranean plants and potted ones.
  In the same year, State Railway of Italy granted me a railway line section which also included an old train station and a 1000 square meter tunnel made by lava stone where I started a seasonal production of mushrooms.
  
  It's been more than 34 years already, and the old train line has become a beautiful green road of Mediterranean essences that has spread troughout the entire property, which includes a vast vivarium of Aloe Vera (I also produce gel for therapeutic treatments, and soaps from them).
  
  Inside my Oasis there is no shortage of hammocks and caravans sheltered from the sun by thick vegetation.
  From a couple of years I'm interested to the cultivation of my own vegetable garden.
  I love cooking and I organize cooking classes.
  
  I've just refurbished the old train station which became a small house.
  I love travelling around the world whenever I get the chance to do so.
  I'm just asking for help in my home and in my private gardens and that the Workawayers won't help any product for sale to the public.

  In here you will find peace of mind. You can learn about cultivation of plants and how to maintain them, how to make aloe vera gel and what it can be used for. You can learn italian and learn from other volunteers. As I said before I also do cooking classes with a variety of local food and spices. but it is not just about what you can learn from me but also what I can learn from you too :)

  I ask for help with these tasks:

  # some artistic projects (painting, drawing, decorating).
  
  # ecological building and renovating.
  
  Hours will be max 5 hours for day - 5 days a week.

  Unterkunft

  In exchange for this help I offer you a stay in a room (when available) or in a camping area in my garden - in a tipi tent or in a tent you'd bring with you. There is an outdoor bathroom. You would also be given food for lunch and dinner.

  Was noch ...

  I live in one of the most beautiful areas of Sicily and you don't need to stroll far to find stunning views and beautiful walks. Aci Castello (where I live) and Aci Trezza are two beautiful towns by the sea, one next to each other, plenty of bars and restaurants. 15 mins away by bus and you can get to the main city, Catania, full of history and traditions. the city night life it is also pretty amazing.
