Do you enjoy home cooked food?
We’re Kathy and Chris, and we’d love to welcome you to our off-grid home on a hobby farm in Northern NSW.
What we do well is catering. And we love it. Chis is the cook and creates the most amazing meals.
We are looking for an energy exchange, so if your keen we looking for help right now.
Its the usual hobby farm tasks, some: gardening, tree planting, building projects, and helping our native forest grow strong. Whether you’ve done this kind of work before or just want to learn practical skills, we’d really value your help.
We ask for 4 hours a day and we give you great home-cooked food, a comfortable room, and a chilled, down-to-earth environment. We grow our own veggies, bake bread, keep stingless bees, and in our downtime would love to take you kayaking, hiking and biking the rail trail, and exploring local swimming spots.
You’ll also have company from Stevie, our friendly dog who loves new mates.
We’re only 10 minutes from Murwillumbah and can pick you up from the bus station or Gold Coast airport 45 minutes north or Byron Bay airport 50 minutes south.
We live next to a beautiful nature reserve with over 40 bird species and stunning views stretching to the QLD border ranges.

We love our region and keen to share our knowledge. We live on a farm and have a sustainable focus with our power, 100% solar, we collect our own water and grow an edible garden most of the year.

We are looking for help on our property. At the moments its is preparing a site to cater for helpers. Some help around the house garden and orchid would also be good.
