Don’t just travel the world to see waterfalls and caves — come help us discover, restore, and open new ones here in the Philippines.
****Project ongoing, but workaway temporarily paused****
*Those already confirmed for February no change, but no new volunteers being accepted at the moment. Sorry.

Hello Adventurers, my name is Tree.
For many years I’ve lived in the jungles of the Philippines, creating nature trails, restoring hidden waterfalls, and uncovering the lost beauty of the jungle to help people remember their connection to the Earth. My passion has always been to discover the lost treasures of nature — caves, waterfalls, cliffs, and forests — and to make them accessible in a way that honors their beauty and the life there(both seen and unseen), so others can experience the magic too.
I've hosted 4 different workaway projects on different island...
Now, with the support of the local government here in Tudela, Camotes, I’ve been invited to help start developing new eco-tourism destinations within the municipality. the land is full of waterfalls and hidden wonders waiting to be uncovered and shared. With the help of our workaway volunteers we already have two new waterfalls open for tourism!
Help us discover, clean, and open other hidden waterfalls and caves for eco-tourism in Camotes, Philippines. This is a hands-on jungle project where you’ll help make secret nature spots accessible for future visitors, while also supporting a local municipality and restoring an eco-dome park.
With your help we can clean and develop in a way that “WE” the travelers ‘want’ it to be developed, natural, noninvasive and eco-friendly... Not the ‘normal fillipino way’ with concreting it all or clear-cutting the area.
At the same time, the place that we are staying at and also rehabilitating is Archival Ecodome Park, a 34-hectare eco-sanctuary with geodesic domes, a food forest, nature trail, and plans for a free community park. The vision is to create a living example of a New Earth sanctuary where people can come together, learn, and reconnect with the living spirit of nature.
***Note, we are already full for February. I'll be off project from Feb 15th til March 1 st.***

This is more than volunteering — it is co-creating a New Earth, one spot at a time. Together we are helping a small rural community open its understanding of eco-tourism in a way that honors the land and its life, while creating opportunities for the local families to earn income, and inspiring a new vision for how humans can live with & support the Earth.
If you’ve ever dreamed of leaving your mark on this Earth come explore, uncover and create living art with me and the nature spirits at a lost waterfall, or cave here in Tudela, Camotes.
A New Earth is possible… and we ourselves can build it, one spot at a time

I believe every single one of us has skills and passion. bring yours here and lets see how we can work together to utilize all of our own unique talents together.
The work is varied, depending on your gifts and energy. Some days we are deep in the jungle clearing trails or cleaning waterfalls. Other times we are planting in the food forest, repairing domes, creating art, or cooking together. Every bit of energy you bring helps to grow something bigger than any one of us can achieve alone.
This isn’t a “clock-in, clock-out” kind of project. I trust Workawayers to find their own rhythm and contribute in ways that feel meaningful matching their own interest and skills. Whether you love building, painting, planting, or just rolling up your sleeves and digging in the earth — there is space for you here.

Unterkunft
You will stay in one of our geodesic domes (shared or private depending on numbers), each with showers and toilets. Life here is simple but comfertable— we are surrounded by nature, but far from towns and ports. Meals are shared, and we often cook together. There is a friday morning market in the local town we go to each week to buy most things we need. Volunteers can come there each week to shop also then we can explore new spots on the way home. We don’t provide luxury, but what we offer is space, peace, and connection to the land.”
Meals are cooked and shared together. Volunteers often help with cooking, and we keep food simple and healthy. Though mostly on the vegitarian side we are not strict about our cooking and volunteers are welcome to make whatever they wish as long as its shared.
This is a new project and our budget isn't so big, so if you want to bring some veggies or fruit with you to help with the cooking its super appreciated.

Location: Daan Paz, Poro, Camotes ,
How to get here:
From Cebu you can cross over by boat to Camotes island either in Liloan port or Danao port. Try to land in Poro. Its the closest port to us. Only a 30 min drive. The other port (Consuelo port) is on the other island and 1 1/2hour drive. If we arrange something ahead of time i can maybe pick you up in poro, but sometimes timing is not easy to line up and it might be easy to just take a bike from the port to here. ₱300 We are at Archival Ecodome Park in Daan Paz.
Life here in Camotes
Tudela is far from the tourist trail. It is wild, quiet, and deeply peaceful. Volunteers stay in one of the five geo domes on-site with showers and toilets in each. Meals are shared, and we often cook together. We are re-planting our gardens and already able to harvest some meals from them, but if you have anything special for your diet or just wanna bring some veggies and eggs to share, all is appreciated. On days off, I can take you to explore caves and hidden waterfalls around the area.

Was with us for almost two weeks helping us plant at the waterfalls, and build nature trails. Even though arriving just after a typhoon, she keep the mood light and positive, always joking with the other volunteers, and sharing her card shuffling skills with us.
