  My name is Véronique and I have been living in Guadeloupe for 41 years
  I currently live on the road to Grand Rivière in the town of Vieux-Habitants.
  
  I'm looking for "green fingers" to make my vegetable garden flourish

  J'habite actuellement sur la route de Grand Rivière dans la commune de Vieux-Habitants.
  Je recherche des "mains vertes" pour faire prospérer mon jardin.
  
  J'aurais besoin aussi de volontaires, ayant des compétences dans le bricolage (peinture, mastic, travail du bois/ bambou...)

  -Il y a aussi l'échange de langues: récemment, j'ai accueilli un Israélien qui ne parlait que l'anglais. Il faut donc s'améliorer pour pratiquer cette langue internationale ...
  
  -Nous apprenons aussi à bien vivre ensemble; par exemple, quand quelqu'un vient ici, j'essaie toujours de percevoir tout de suite ce que cette personne peut faire de mieux et surtout ce qu'elle AIME faire, afin qu'elle se sente à l'aise et satisfaite des tâches demandées

  Arbeit

  -I invite everyone to come and help me develop the vegetable garden.
  -I would also need handymen (painting, putty, woodworking/bamboo...)
  
  
  -J'invite tout un chacun à venir m'aider à faire évoluer le jardin potager .

  Unterkunft

  Next to my small cottage, is a large terrace, on which we installed a marquee, which has turned into a room for "nature lovers" (Everything is green all around). It is completely airtight, because there are 4 walls.
  We can accommodate a single person or a couple.
  
  Regarding meals, everyone will prepare their own "popote". Food is not included in the exchange. That’s why I’m only asking for 3 hours of work a day, instead of 5.
  However, if you like conviviality, it is obvious that we can share meals together
  However, as far as I’m concerned, I eat rather "raw" (crusine, you know?)
  So if you start cooking meat, for example, I won’t particularly tolerate...
  I will favor vegetarians or vegans...

  A côté de mon petit gîte, se trouve une grande terrasse, sur laquelle j'ai installé un chapiteau, qui s'est transformé en une chambre, pour les "amoureux de Nature" (Tout est vert tout autour). Elle est totalement hermétique, car il y a 4 murs.
  Je peux accueillir un ou une célibataire ou un couple ,
  
  Concernant les repas, chacun préparera sa "popote" . La nourriture n'est pas comprise dans l'échange. C'est la raison pour laquelle je ne demande que 3 heures de travail par jour, à la place de 5 heures.
  Cependant, si vous aimez la convivialité, il est évident que nous pouvons partager des repas ensemble...
  
  Par contre, en ce qui me concerne, je mange plutôt "cru" (crusine, vous connaissez?)
  Donc si vous vous mettez à cuisiner la viande, par exemple, je ne vais pas spécialement supporter ...
  Je privilègerai les végétariens ou vegans...

  The place where I am is truly magnificent (sun, sea, river, forest, mountain...) So let’s take advantage of it ...
  
  During your "free" hours, you can swim at the river (10 minutes on foot), or go to the beach of Vieux-Habitants
  (10 min. by car).
  There are also beautiful walks to do in the valley.
  In the neighboring town (Bouillante), it is possible to do underwater diving, or to bathe in the evening in warm "puffed" water (very beneficial for health...)

  Le lieu dans lequel je me trouve est franchement magnifique (soleil, mer, rivière, forêt, montagne...) Alors, profitons-en ...
  
  Durant vos heures "libres", vous pourrez vous baigner à la rivière (10 min. à pied) , où vous rendre à la plage de Vieux-Habitants
  (10 min. en voiture).
  Il y a aussi de belles ballades à faire dans la vallée.
  Dans la commune voisine (Bouillante), il est possible de faire de la plongée sousmarine, ou de se baigner le soir dans une eau chaude "souffrée" ( très bénéfique pour la santé...)
