  Hi! My name is Stella. I live with my senior rescue dog in a beautiful two bedroom apartment in Lagos, Portugal. The place has a large south-facing balcony to enjoy the afternoon sun and it sits within a 20 minute walk to supermarkets, a number of beaches and the most beautiful hikes along the coast. I keep my home tidy, clean and peaceful.
  
  My 14 year old dog Jeitosa had lived in a shelter most of her life before I took her in about 2 years ago. She's incredibly gentle, calm, obedient and has the kindest soul. She's shy with strangers and avoids other dogs, but enjoys a good sniff in the grass, a snack and a snooze. She´s a soft soul and needs someone kind and patient to keep her company while I travel for work.

  You´ll have to get up early with her as she is used to an early schedule (she has to poop early, there you go :D). You´ll be responsible for her walks, her feeding schedule and make sure she gets the love and attention she had missed most of her life. Given she´s a senior, she doesn´t tolerate the heat of the day well and can´t join you for the beach or the café. I trust that you recognize her needs and limitations and won´t get impatient with her.
  Besides caring for the dog I´d much appreciate if you took care of the household and kept the place tidy.

  Unterkunft

  You'll stay in my guest room (two single beds) and will be able to enjoy the entire apartment with kitchen, living area, bathroom and a large balcony. There's an elevator so neither you nor the dog will have to climb stairs. My place is tidy, clean and quiet - and I'much like to find it this way when I return.
  You´ll be living in a Portuguese neighborhood with cafés and shops around, but English is well spoken and understood.

  Was noch ...

  My dog is a senior and requires someone to be present with her. She has to go outside regularly and should never be left without bathroom breaks for more than 4-5 hours max (during the day). She's used to an early schedule and has to go outside first thing between 7 and 8am. Her walks are short and she is slow, but she needs the enrichment nonetheless - I'd love if you had the patience to take her for sniffs in the grass and could support her pace.
  
  As I work from home and spend a lot of time with her, I'd wanna make sure that she won't be left alone too much. Of course you're encouraged to enjoy the beach and go for nice food, but the majority of the day I'd like to know her in caring hands.
  
  As you'll be able to enjoy my home, I expect there won't be any visitors, no parties or disturbances for my neighbors and that I'll find the place as tidy as I left it.
  
  All in all, I´d like to find someone who wants to spend some peaceful time with a sweet and gentle dog, enjoy some nice walks and Portuguese food and doesn´t struggle making her well-being their priority.
