  My name is Abhishek. I started my career in IT field and I used to live in metro city and I had a small IT development firm and training institute but I was not satisfied with my life so I decided to go back and to connect with my roots, my native place Jaisalmer.
  
  Jaisalmer is known for its rich culture and its friendly people and its hospitality that is why many people come here from various countries. So, I decided to start a hospitality venture as hospitality is in my blood. This allowed me to share my heritage and my village culture and desert life with visitors from all over the world while also learning about their cultures. It is a great way to connect and exchange stories with each other’s.
  
  First, I started a camel safari tour for tourists to explore the life of desert and then I leased a charming desert campsite in famous Sam Sand Dunes of Thar Desert.
  
  In my team there are local villagers, camel man. The community they come from are decidedly impoverished. As a helping hand by providing them regular employment I am supporting them and their family so that they can get regular source of income and their children can attend school and get education.
  
  For my beautiful camp site in thar desert I invite passionate individuals, volunteers to join my vibrant team and who want to enjoy and explore desert life.
  
  This isn't just a volunteer opportunity it is a chance to experience the Magic of the Desert Life in a camp site with shared facilities of stay and dining, and immerse yourself in the beauty of the Thar Desert as well as be a helping hand for such families.
  
  I need of Volunteers in following way :
  
  Volunteers can help in various way, depending on the moment and the skills. They can help in various camp operations with me and with my team. They can Interact with guests on reception and helping them in check in and check out of guest and contribute to creating unforgettable experiences for guests. They can also help to grow business and enhance foreign tourists’ footfall at our place. They can also help us to take high quality photos and to create videos with good editing of different activities & events here at our campsite for various social media platforms. For this Volunteers must have their own equipment (High quality camera + Laptop) to perform tasks & duties independently to a high standard. Volunteers can also help to improve staff language skills.
  
  PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING

  
  1. I have already mentioned that in our team there are local villagers and camel man we provide regular employment to them through our camp site business so our team work hard every day to make our guests happy . We count on your commitment to do the same and make an impact!

  So If you are looking for a place to party, this isn't for you! We want mature people who take their tasks seriously.

  
  2. We require a minimum of 3 weeks and prefer people to stay longer, so please ONLY write to us if you can commit to this.
  
  3. Please note that our camp site is situated in Thar desert where water scarcity is a serious problem. We have no piped water facility so we have to bring water from tankers which is so expensive so fresh water and electrical conservation are very important for us. So do not waste water as it is very important and valuable for us and local villagers.
  
  4. As our camp site is situated in desert so there is no wi-fi facility.
  
  
  So if you are tired from the city's hassle life and if you want the unforgettable experience under the stars then ditch the Wi-Fi and join us as a volunteer at our desert camp in beautiful Sam Sand Dunes of Jaisalmer and also become a life time member of our family.

  Unterkunft

  We offer Simple tent or room with fan with bathroom inside or Sometime volunteers may have to use common bathrooms also. Depending on the number of volunteers during stay, volunteers may have to share a room with 1-3 other volunteers or you may have to share room with other team members or with me also.
  
  Volunteers may sleep under the sky full of stars with our other staff members and can enjoy star gazing at night.
  
  We offer breakfast, lunch and dinner to our volunteers. Whatever we cook for us in on daily basis meal volunteers can eat with us. Volunteers can get discount on drinks.
  
  Other services like laundry and use of air conditioning or room heater will be charged.
  
  We also offer camel ride once or twice during their stay.
