  Beschreibung

  We are a family of 5 living in a house close to down town Reykjavik. Grandfather Snorri is a 57 years old biologist and grandmother Guðbjörg is a 57 years old psychologist. Our house has 3 floors with four bedrooms and next to the house we have a new mobile home with good electricity heating (can serve as a private room with toilet and running water). Our location has easy bus connection to Reykjavík city center. We have a second home in the charming town of Akureyri (sometimes called the capital of North Iceland) where we sometimes travel to on the week-ends and would definitively invite our workawayer to visit with us. We have an Icelandic sheep dog that loves company and attention .

  Arbeit

  Our middle daughter (25 years old) a single mom living with us, had a baby boy in June 2024. The mother is mostly at home with the baby but is attending school for a few hours each week and needs help with babysitting for those hours. We (the grandparents) are usually working during the day . We are mostly looking for babysitting but a walk with the dog and some help around the house would also be greatly appreciated.
