Beschreibung
Hi! My name is Stefano, I live and work in a small mountain town in the heart of the Aosta Valley. I'm a ski instructor and I run a small supermarket and some rental accommodation.
I was also a Workawayer in Ireland in 2015!
I have already hosted fantastic people who have enriched me with new ideas and enthusiasm, for me confrontation and sharing are the real reason why I am a host!
The place where I live is 1300 meters above the sea level, in spring there are green meadows and long sunny days, summer is hot but not stifling (hardly reaching 28-30°c), autumn is very quiet, there are beautiful days, spectacular colors and is an excellent destination for mountain excursions. The air is fresh and pure, people are busy but very quiet! Winter is also spectacular. I live 10 minutes from Monterosa Ski, a resort with over 100km of slopes and many freeride routes. For those who love the mountains, it's a great place to do sport and be outdoors!
I'm curious to meet people from all over the world and I will be proud to show you the beauties and culture of my little paradise in the Alps! -

Arbeit
SUMMER SEASON 2026
Together with my partners, we run a supermarket, some vacation homes and a green area with a small bar, miniature golf and rowing boat rentals. At the moment we have almost completed the team for the summer, but it is not out of the question that we may need an extra hand at busy times.
Tasks in which I might need help are.
- restocking shelves at the supermarket
- cleaning the apartments
- taking care of the green area (flowers, waste management, cleaning public restrooms)
- bar service (knowledge of Italian is important for this)
Help with household chores could also come in handy!
Please note: as I write (April 2026), I do not yet know if I will open availability or what the duties or number of hours per week will be. If you are curious about the idea, though, please write to me to learn more! The activities are paid, but I'm mostly looking for curious people who are eager to share an experience and discover new things, rather than chasing real income. -

Unterkunft
You will be hosted in my home, which will be at your complete disposal practically all day while I am at work.
ROOM
You will have your own reserved room, with a shared bathroom. I have a washing machine that is at your disposal when you need it.
INTERNET
I have a good connection with unlimited GB. But I hope you prefer to enjoy the nature that surrounds you!
FOOD
I run a supermarket, food will never be lacking! You can ask me anything, you will be the one to cook for us. I'm not a great cook, but I can recommend some typical recipes from my region and Italy.
I love craft beer and spirits, if you want to share a glass with me I will be happy! Another drink that never fails is Genepy, a typical liqueur prepared at home with a herb collected in the high mountains.
