  We're a lively family living right in the heart of vibrant Milan! We're two adults (Patty and Stefan), plus some of our kids who live with us: one or two (they're over 20, but always part of the family!), and a whole lot of furry friends. Luca, 20 years old, lives with us and Sarah (23 years old) lives part time with us. Our home is nestled in a charming area of the city centre, offering the best of both worlds – the excitement of Milan's bustling life, while still maintaining the friendly feel of a close-knit neighborhood.
  
  Milan itself is a truly incredible city. You'll find yourself surrounded by stunning architecture, world-class museums, delicious food, and a vibrant cultural scene. From exploring the iconic Duomo to wandering through the stylish fashion district, there's always something new to discover.
  
  Our family also includes two super cool, big dogs. They're incredibly gentle and quiet, always happy to receive a friendly pat. We also have three lovely lady cats. However, it's important to note that our dogs and cats, while all sweethearts, prefer to keep their distance from each other. So, a bit of pet management is required!
  
  We require help with the daily management of our dogs and cats, and a little help around the house.
  
  We're looking for friendly, responsible Workawayers who are comfortable around animals and enjoy the buzz of city life. If you're excited to experience Milan and are happy to help with some light tasks around the house and pet care, we'd love to hear from you!

  Arbeit

  We need experienced and assertive dog sitters/trainers: we have two large breed dogs. A male dog, Loki, 3 years old, mix of shepherds breed. A female dog, Aria, 6 years old, half cane corso half bull mastiff. Both very gentle and competent. They both go to a doggy day care from 8 am till 4 pm approximately from Monday to Friday. We need someone who's experienced with these kind of dogs to take them out in the morning (Wednesday, Thursday or Tuesday, Friday) for a very short walk before the doggy day care picks them up and in the weekends for one very long walk either in the afternoon or in the morning. Sometimes we'll go out with the dogs and the workawayer. We also need a shot walk in the evening after dinner, minimum three days a week.
  Sometimes we need the workawayer to feed them, but everything will be explained once here.
  Some cat management is needed as well, to feed them in the afternoon and to clean the cat litters in the morning (Wednesday, Friday and Tuesday/Thursday)and on Friday Saturday Sunday morning and afternoon. The three lady cats are Gina, Bianca and Freja, all of them pretty scared by everything and especially by the dogs.
  Filling water bowls is also required (and drying the floor a bit after the dogs drink).
  Cats and dogs live in two separate areas of the house but the dogs are the doggy day care cats are free to roam all around the house (and in the garden). They meet only under our supervision and we need to be careful.

  We all speak Italian and English. I'm quite fluent in Spanish and Stefan speaks Danish, French, Swedish and German too. Better stick to the English though, as everyone in the house will be able to communicate.

  Unterkunft

  You will have your own bedroom with a big bed, a desk and a wardrobe. Bed linen, blankets and towels are there. The bathroom will be shared with Sarah, who lives with us during the week.
  When Stefan is at home he loves cooking, but is not always at home as he travels a lot. Therefore feel free to cook for yourself if you want as long as you tidy up the kitchen after. I do a general shopping and if you want something specific just ask.
  We have a cleaning lady who comes four days a week but please keep your room tidy.

  Was noch ...

  We're very close to public transport: a tram going straight to Duomo stops outside our place and there are other buses and a tube station (yellow line) near by. We're quite close to Linate airport and to Milan Central Station.
  We live a very busy life so most of the time no-one will be at home (but the cleaning lady).
  I teach during the day while Stefan works from home when he's in Milan but he travels a lot.
  I vape at home but usually when there's no-one around.
