My name is Stacy Sherine Nick, I am a law student in one of the Kenyan university's -kabarak University- I am currently 21 years old and the founder and chair of our foundation.

I come from a family of 8. My parents are both pastors of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.

I have two elder brothers, Ken and White, two elder sisters, Winnie and Angela and a younger Sister Faith. We have grown up and with our father who is a pastor named Nick, in Oyugis, Homabay,Kenya

I have grown up in a community where education was not that valued, and thus young ladies often left school at the age of 16.

Seeing my age mates get pregnant and opt for early marriages is one of the major reasons that motivated me to come up with my foundation.

A teenage mothers organization that aims at empowering teenage mothers through education, mentorship, creation of job, counselling session and being a safe home for the girls.

We have managed to impact in the lives of more than 20 teenage mothers in Homabay county . Most of them have managed to go back to school and embrace education.
We have also ensured a friendly environment for the victims by building a rescue home to some of the most serious cases, we have university students(my friends) who have been very instrumental in mentorship program and counselling .

Our friends plus the support team have always come handy offering free tution to our girls during school breaks and organizing fun events for purposes of team building and empowerment.

We really would be glad to extend this organization by involving our workawayers who are passionate at planting smiles and supporting the young vulnerable girls together with their children through fun activities, mentorship, counselling and event tutoring.

We purpose to ensure that while our travelers spare time to transform the lives of our people, they will get to understand diversity in our community that will help build community relations and cohesion.

    - One of the ways we will ensure that travelers benefit from a cultural exchange is

    1. By allowing them to experience our native language.
    - Living among people whose native language you aren't familiar with, might seem to be an obstacle, but therein lies our value.
    - Facing hurdles during the exchange will give our travelers a sense of accomplishment, boosting their self-esteem and self- awareness.
    - As a result, they will return home with the ambition and confidence necessary to take on new challenges and pursue new goals.

    2. The experience will build a lifelong friendship.
    - Our travelers during the cultural exchange , will participate in the day-to-day life of the host family and community, effectively becoming another member of the family.
    - On their return back home, they shall have formed a long-lasting bonds with their host and many new friends.

    3. Get accustomed to a foreign environment
    - We believe that after the visit and participation by our travelers, they shall be more comfortable in multicultural and multilingual environments in the future.
    - Not will they go on to feel more at ease when abroad and travelling, but will adapt better to new environments. become a host.
    - We believe that our travelers shall have learnt vital local skills, during the program enough to help them give back to their society back at home.

    4. Develop communication and problem solving skills.
Since the foundation is focused on finding solutions to the many challenges in our community, we believe that through this cultural exchange, our travelers shall have improved their problem solving skills and how they interact with different people in the society.
